Looking for a cheap option for my buddy who is just getting into the game. He wants to play dwarves.

Anyone got some squats they're tired of winning with?

I would kill anyone who weapon snipped squats for fantasy football :pissed: . They are the best 40k race ever, ever and are as rare as hens teeth, but they will come back! (Serious denial issues)

Anyway, I have a tabletop quality painted dwarf team I'm selling for £25 if you are interested. :D

The 3ed dwarf team can be found at acceptable prices on ebay.

Even the 2ed ones are reasonably priced, for 2ed minis.

If you are in a hurry, the Skull Pass dwarves can be converted into an acceptable team. You just have to find the right mix of figs and make sure that you got a way to make the Blitzers and Runners distinct from the others. Will not be as neat a result as for other WFB figs, but will be cheap and acceptable.

You could always go for the old Dungeonbowl plastics. they make great Blockers and you can bitz out the positionals if your friend gets serious about the game.

Spiky is selling some as we speak:

Yeah, there are a bunch of those around in boxes with the soft plastic mohawk elves. Probably because, unlike the plastic human teams from the 3rd ed. box, the dungeonbowl plastics were completely awful.

We may go that route eventually, and fill in the positionals with other models. But I figure at the very least, a post here would have a good chance of finding something both cool and affordable.
