Looks like they're 29mm squares on the store. Unfortunate - there doesn't seem to be a 40mm portable mat offering, but there are a plethora of 29mm options.

That's because you Seahawks / Mariners / Huskies up there deserve nothing of the sort. ;)

Don't blame me - the Canadians got me hooked on playing on those damn non-standard pitches. Playing on anything smaller just feels so cramped now.

I'm in the process of building a Seattle area league up, and we'd be in like flynn if anyone had nice portable 40mm options.

That said, I won't disagree with you on the quality of our PNW sports offerings. It's a sad state of affairs, and I rarely bother paying attention :P

D'you use a range-ruler of some sort on 40mm squares, or just count?

Seems like 40mm would be fun for some kind of "championship", so people could spectate more easily, but I hate square-counting.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.

Thunderbowl has 40mm range rulers that they use. Sorry to derail the topic... :o
