MARCH MADNESS SALE!
10% to 35% off many items in the store
We had a couple organizations approach us this month and offer joint partnerships on exciting new ventures. However such ventures take money. So for the rest of March all Impact! miniatures other than the Sarcos are 10% off, Rolljordan Buggers and Legio Dwarves are 35%!!! off as well. Finally our 7 newest figures Elf figures shown in the March 15th entry are 25% off for this March sale. So help us get some investment capital to bring you some great new items and get a
discount while doing so!

We have added our first two Timberline Elf figures to the store. The two hunters are the work of Patrick Keith who will be producing all 12 figures for the final Elfball team that we need to create.

In addition, we've added 5 more Elf players for our Black Widows and Night Elf teams. These were amateur submissions from our Targeted Impact! program and we think the work of Guy England and Frank Sowieralski gives some great variety to these two older Impact! teams.

I like the timberline hunters. To me, these are much better representatives of a wild, nature-themed elven team. Granny's are just ok. The impact mini line continues to get better.

I'm assuming these could be used for wardancers. It looks like if you were going to make an elfball/BB conversion, there would be throwers, use these for wardancers, midfielders for lineman and striker for catcher? I could also see these being the catchers, with the strikers being wardancers. For some reason, a wardancer with a deer rack instead of a mohawk being cool.

Any chance we could see the concept art for the rest of the team?

We had decided to keep the sketches for this team close to our vest so we don't have the long wait for our customers as these are being sculpted at a rate around one every 5 to 6 weeks.

But there will be one unique figure for each figure on the Elfball team.

So in total:
2 Hunters
4 Dryads
2 Strikers
2 Throwers
2 Midfielders

We hope to release 2 more figures of the team every 2 to 3 months. The first 2 Dryads will be be the next release.

i like the general direction of the elfs ... BUT the legs look way to short and that ruins them for me (the upper leg looks shorter than the lower arm?)

I think the animal fur loin cloth stopping mid-thigh has a slight foreshortening effect Tim, making it look worse than it is. I have held master casts in my hands and they did not look out of proportion to me.. but then my forearm and thigh are actually the same length..

Nice to see the first Timberline Elves, looking good for the wilder look, will be interesting to see what the rest of the team looks like when they are released. I like the new Night Elves, that team really needed a few more options. The two lighter armored ones also look like they'd work well in a wood elf team too.

Only 3 days left to the March sale ... prices go back up as soon as the month is over.
