I am looking for a couple of these, preferably unpainted but painted is fine. If anyone can help could you please give me a nudge?

any specific era? I have some of the ones from the early 90s. (The skinny curved backed ones.)

There are four generations of Bloodletters, do you have a picture or link to the ones you are after? I have a couple of them, but not the new plastics which is what I assume you are after?

Oh I didn't know there were various versions. I am planning on using them in a chaos team as my chaos warriors with Khorne Berzerkers as my beastmen, for a theme type treat. So I assume the new ones are a little too big for this so I was hioping to get a couple of the older, but a little smaller figs.

Ok I'm a n00b. Looks like I can take 4 Chaos warriors..... so I might need 4...

Hehe!

The four versions (In order) are...

...first three are metal, latest is plastic and loads easier to convert. I've spare V2 metals, may have a couple of V3, no V1 or 4 though. May well be worth asking on Bartertown or the Warhammer Forum is you want the latest ones?

Hope that helps!

Yup, thanks for the fast response. I think the V4 are probably best, as you say, converting them will be easier. I'll have a poke round and see what I can find.

One of the guys in my club made a Chaos team out of the plastic Bloodletters...

Beastmen:

Minotaur:

The only thing I'd say about them is that it can get confusing when playing against them between the warriors and beastmen if you use the same models, even with the "champion" heads on them.

I'd ask him to base ring them at the very least, could be real hard to spot on the pitch, and I am used to the models!

I am going to use 40k Berserkers as the Beastmen, and a slightly modified Minotaur for a erm... minotaur. Hopefully they wont look really crap, but that team shows that the idea is sound enough.

How about using the Beserkers as Warriors and Bloodletters as Beastmen? Either way, it sounds like a decent idea for a team :)

I think the team above were put together as he could make a cheap team out of a single box plus the cost of the Karanak model. He's a fan of the dipping method which isn't bad - I just don't think he did a great job on the bases as they look a little messy for my tastes.

I see the Daemons as a centrepiece to the team - until the minotaur is affordable at least. Less is more. The Berzerkers for me suit the idea of the rank and file, suicidal little monkeh's getting stuck in with no regard for their own safety.
