NAF World Cup Limited Edition coin #217 missing !

I bought this NAF World Cup Limited Edition
coin #217 by ebay auction. Because the original buyer backed out of the deal I got this as a second chance offer directly from the seller because he knows me from this forum. But that was now more than 4 weeks ago and the coin didnt arrive here until today.
I was told, the coin was send by mail 1class from UK and i have to wait for a month before some research can be started for the missing mail. Is there a insurance on UK 1class mail at all ? I still hoping, but i didnt get a new anwser after the four weeks from the seller the last 5 days.
I want to ask also, that if this coin turns up somewhere here or at ebay again, please give me a PM. Thx.
Thats the first and only item which went missing in all my ebay auctions ! And these were quite a few !

All UK mail is insured to around £36 as long as the seller got proof of postage.
You can buy additional insurance but it doesn't sound like this was done.
And I believe you have to wait 6 weeks before you can claim on it.

Did you pay with PayPal?
If yes file a Buyer Complaint for non-receipt.
That works wonders sometimes with slow/non-shippers

guys it was me i have hopefully sorted the problem but the coin alas appears to be lost in the postal system between the uk and germany

.
odd as its the 1st thing i have ever had lost in the post and all the other items i sent out on the same day made it fine.
and pubbowler you are correct (at least thats what the uninterested person behind the counter told me)

Ah well that clarifies things.
Definitely a shifty looking character (how did he afford that fancy helmet) so I'd start legal action and maybe hire some sort of bounty hunter just to be sure...

Nope, thats not the problem here !
The whole time i was sure, that this wasnt Shane (rodders) fault ! Just the mail service. The German or the UK one !
(BTW... I did some background checking and used some undercover agents before and Shane got good comments... he is clean

)
Its just a pity, that the coin looks lost and i now hope, Shane will get a refund from UK Mail, too.
Shane, i will anwser your mail tomorrow... to tired atm. I think, we can solve the problem like you wrote me. I just need to go to bed now...in just 3 hours my little halfling will wake me up again !!

Looks like we have a Blood Bowl thief hiding amongst the postmen.
Maybe as some of you know, I recently sold my dice on ebay.
4 sets were bought from the same buyer in different auctions (purple, yellow, orange and black NAF dice).
I have sent 3 sets to France on tuesday last week, and the black set on wednesday. The black set arrived, the others not.
Our "Deutsche Post" is not able to trace it due to the fact that this was an international letter. This never happened to me before, so the lesson learned is to insure every damn letter, resulting in increasing shipping costs for the buyer.

Better not mail it if it is bought. If possible, try to see who plays at what tournament and then have it brought along.

ALWAYS register your stuff when you sell it. I've been burnt by both dishonest buyers, and the mail. Now everything i send out is via Registered mail. Buyers are told in the auction that that is the only option. No complaints.

Ive got a set of the NAF human team and the NAF coin that i have been thinking about selling over the past month. My friend never turned up to the tournament and so i kept his stuff seeing as i baught the tickets.
Has there been much interest in the team and coin since the World Cup?
