i'm selling some of the block dice i've had laying around for quite a while...

It looks like i've got two different sets of the pink dice... they have a different colour pink, anybody ever notice this before? what's the story?

The original NAF dice for that year were pink. When the NAF had to re-order the dice, they received a slightly different colour, more of a purplely-pink colour.


Or it might have been the other way round.

The original story was that the dice were supposed to be the darker purple, but there was a slight mistake, but it was too late. (Some of us think that it was just the Pres at the times preference for pink.)

The correct colour was the second darker batch.

In fact the first batch were the darker 'purple'.. (still pinker than expected.. I'd envisaged (and specified) a liche purple.. a minnesota vikes sort of shade).
The second batch really were pink! Quality control issues and all that blah.
Of the two the darker first batch were the smaller run and hence the rarer.
