Two Troll 3's... God knows how many Slargas (including previous sales), most of the minis are the same but in multiples... Am I being too suspicious here (and possibly annoyed that I just paid £45 for a Troll 3.. (thank you Tritex.. *sigh* )) at seeing two (or maybe one if it's a double post) troll 3's appear?

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

Have to agree with you pal. Very suspicious. Especially seeing as he seems to have loads of the same mini. Not much of a variety

War in the nick...the guy who sell me a bunch of re-casted CD also has War on his nick...

Suspicious, Watson...

I also was a bit suspicious here. I thought he put the same auction twice by accident.

Hey I wanted the Troll No 3 for my collection...You were lucky I timed out bidding £50 for it....

I must admit there is a lot of pieces here but I don't know enough about casting to know if they are too shiny as you say. Some of the GW pieces I have bought over the years are shiny and some are very dull! It all seems to be dependent on which ways the wind blowing with what GW churns out!! I don't think anyone can really cast good copies though can they as surely the detail would be lost on a re-cast??

Really the give away is the bad photos. With the age of digital cameras you would think the seller would take photos till he had a decient one showing the detail of the product instead of the reverse. Well unless he has something to hide,....

Well my bid was still higher than that ;) But not sure if it's still 'known' but there was always the friendly rule to speak to another TBB'er if they were bidding on something you wanted to compare maximum bids so not to drive the price up for a fellow collector.

That and 10 dark elf linemen.. 7 are the same and the other three are the same... Out of four possible variations, that's unlikely... But not impossible... But then take just how many duplicates of each mini he has....

I appreciate this but I use a bid manger in most occasions to bid so I didn't see who I was bidding on but it alerted me that my bid price hadn't been successful and I tried to immediately manually bid but missed out! Sorry but if I hadn't someone else probably would have!

might well take the risk on one of them, and be warned I suffer from a lot of liquid cash and an inability to backdown. :P ;)

tbh though I'm very dubious about the authenticity, so I have no idea if I'll actually bid or not yet.

Looks dodgy to me, a number of things suggest to me that its definalty someone thats just started a new account having abandoned an old one.

Hmm - who bought the last lot? My concern here is some of the older stuff and newer stuff I get can be a mix of shiney and dull.....its all mixed up. I thought though that it would be too difficult to re-cast figures without losing a lot of the detail, especially in some of these earlier models?

Seems odd though he has had 3 Troll No 3's?
