Khemri team for cheap

Post by Bizzy »

Anyone know where I can pick up the box starter Khemri team for cheap. I had seen one on Ebay for only $25 American. I was hoping that people could point me in the right direction here.

Ebay? :D Finding stuff cheap is hard. You won't get a team much cheaper on ebay than from GW. I recommend more "local" online market places. Another great place to find teams cheap is gaming club forums. There's always some 40k player with a BB-team in the cupboard they wanna get rid of.

I've seen several khemri teams go very cheap recently on ebay. Just keep checking up on them.

I got my Kehmri team from Germany and costed approx. 12 euro's thats near to 15 Us dollars.
So its worth to check ebay frequently. You might get lucky. Also got Ramtut for 3 euros.
So be patient.

Try the WHFB Khemri skeletons box. Give you enough for 16 skeletons, only have to work on a mummy-thing, wich I will substitute with 4 (new) Necron Immortals.
The box goes for 27.50 Euro, so... I think it's cheaper then the team itself, and you have more conversion-possibilities, AND you have a complete team !

I second that and I will add that assembling plastic skeletons is a whole lot easier then those tiny metal bits in the BB Khemri box. Those metal skellies are extremely frustrating to assemble because the "contact area" of the parts is miniscule so they will fall apart by a light summer breeze or by just looking at them. IMHO the Khemri boxed set for BB is TOTAL crap.

Hey, that was the same you said to me in Legendz, wasnt it ? :D I did already bought a box by then BTW...

I think that pinning those tiny little metal arms will be a pain, and plastic is much more user-friendly in converting !

Could very well be, I try to save as many people as possible from the frustration I went through. :-? I finally stopped them from falling apart by using loads of "Locktight" superglue, that stuff is so strong it you can feel it burning in your eyes when they pass over the open jar.
