Sorry for posting in here without there actually being anything for sale right now but please, bear with me a moment. I was hoping for some opinions from people who would be interested in buying Blood Bowl minis, so I guessed this would be the place to come.
I'm thinking about selling some figures that I've converted (or am converting), either from GW's non-BB lines or from other companies, to be Blood Bo- excuse me, fantasy football figures.

I know this is all hypothetical right now since you can't actually see the work, but for argument's sake, let's say that they'd be good conversions with well-executed green stuff-ing, clean weapon snips, dynamic posing, etc. Basically, say that if you saw them primered (and therefore couldn't see the GS and whatnot) you'd simply think, "That's a nice football player."
But these guys are unpainted. Everyone around here knows who the board's painting gods are, and I wouldn't dare put myself anywhere near that level -- not even when speaking hypothetically. So if I were to paint these, you're not going to be looking at Longfang's
Ghoul, Odin's
Beastmean, etc. But say, for argument's sake, that I could paint them rather nicely -- and legitimately so, not your typical eBay "pro-painted"

BS. So while the paint job might not drop jaws, it would be something with which the majority of players out there would be quite pleased.
So here's the point to all this (finally!

): which would you rather have, the mini unpainted or painted? Would you want -- and, yes, spend more on, I'm wondering -- an (fairly) unique, unpainted conversion that would need painting but could therefore be matched to an existing team, or would you be more interested in a painted, "complete" mini that requires no work and looks good all around, but wouldn't necessarily match up, color-wise, with a team to which you might want to add him?
Or, you could just tell me that it doesn't matter, I shouldn't bother one way or the other.

Hopefully you won't be choosing that option but regardless, thanks in advance for any opinions anyone might care to share.
