What a bargain: just 5 GBPs per Skaven!

50GBP opening bid isn't too bad - particularly if its a complete team.

I paid more than that for my Skaven...at least it's a full team and not piecemeal like MT's usual style.

Just because of the seller I wouldn't buy it. If no one buys his auctions he might actually give up on screwing up everyones chances on ebay.
I propose a worldwide boycot of this bastard.

Yeah, I can sign on that... I was buying some snots from him outside ebay. He asked what I wanted to pay, I told him, he grumbled a little but said ok, I paid but no snots ever showed up. "Lost in the mail". The email communication preceding the deal was crap from his side too... So I never got the snots I needed to get some alien blitzer lovin' off of Galak. =(
I love how he's pimping dusty old 2nd edition minis as "pro painted" though... then again, that term isn't worth shit on ebay. I bought some elves with exactly the same colour scheme as the ones he's selling now. They went in the stripping fluids right away.

Well, I wouldn't pay more than 50GPS as the final price for them. Only bc GW sells them 3 GBPs (that means if they still would be sold via archive) doesn't mean that I'm willing to take that as a starting bid.
And 5GPS is over the top IMHO
But maybe I'm tight-fisted...

I completly agree. Maybe I'll never get the 2ed minis I want cause I'm so tight.

That is worth complaining about.
IMO you can't complain at the seller - if no one buys it he'll start bringing the prices down.

I wonder how many times this has been said on a GW-related forum? =D
I agree with you tho. But when it comes to geeks being addicted to stuff, it really is a seller's market. =)

Its definately too high.
I purchased a 2nd ed. skaven team two or three years ago and I paid about 25 Euros.

He is certainly a strange seller, I notice sometimes he does have items on there on the cheap but then this, very strange bloke.
I bought 12 2ed Goblins off him for £19 incl postage a few weeks ago, I think that is quite good.

He does have a good feel for what the market will support. He's been doing this for a while. I have a feeling that, with the miniature market cooling off he's taking a serious hit in fees for stuff that isn't selling. To alleviate that you want to post fewer acutions, hence the team concept. You don't want to start them to low though so he's starting them where he would have been paid when the market was hot and the minis went individually. It's better to get 1 bid where you'd like to see it than get 10 and have it go for half what you needed to get for it. That's to high in my opinion, I figure they're worth half that on the high end, but someone else might really want them that bad. They have sold that high in the past and if he's the only seller out there with that item, it could happen.
