BigD is currently considering selling his Lizardman team. As many of you already know it's mega rare and also superbly painted by Mr Klipp (IIRC).

What with a recent baby, he's considering selling this. Who would be interested?

If i had the money i be prepared to pay £150 for it, played against it at the 1st bloodbowl its really well painted.

Pics are essential for judging the value of a painted team, innit?

Furthermore, is it a full squad or just 12-13 minis? How many Sauri/Skinks? Including a Lizardmen cheerleader?

it's a full team too, including at least 1 cheerleader.

This first announcement was more for people who have seen it. Obviously others will need to wait for pics...

With the information you gave me I'd value the team 200-250GBP. If I wouldn't have a painted Lizardmen team already I'd be interested.

I see the main problem that Big D will be naturally interested in some sort of profit, but reselling a team that did cost collector's price + pro painters wage is usually quite hard if you expect to get more money out of it than you invested.

Overkill! 7 Sauri, 10 skinks, 2 Kroxigors, 2 Cheerleader and 6 coaching minis.

Well I have to increase my value estimation, but after some point diminishing return kicks in.

Milo Sharp had a Pro Painted GD 2000 Lizardman team. No extras just the base team they sold at Games Day ... (ie no musicians, cheerleaders, or Silibi ... those are were not part of the original team).

I paid $185 for that team. It shows up every year at GenCon as it was my Christmas present in 2003 to my brother (gave it to him early to use at the tournament).

Since I bought the team I've added a painted Lizardman referee for 2004 Christmas and this year I'll be adding a painted Lizardman cheerleader to his squad.

185 USD is roughly about 105 to 110 BPS ... throw in the 2 cheerleaders and the musicans and I'd probably pay 175 BPS for the team ... if I was in the market. But there is overfill in that team ... I would not pay for the 2nd Kroxigor for instance when calculating my offer for the team.

If I didn't already have a partial team and had any money to spare I'd probably pay around 150 BPS.

I would be interested in the extra Saurus. I've only got 5, so one more would fill out my roster.

If I would be the seller, I'd sell it seperately.

1 complete with extra team.

The cheerleader could go for a lot (doesn't it?), and the ultra complete team should be sold as a pro-painted team, in a limited edition
