OOP CHAOS DWARFS, CHAOS, OGRES & ORIGINAL BEAST OF NURGL

Post by dwarfcoach »

Loads of 'curlers in beards' action as I turn my attention to the Chaos Dwarfs! I've got loads more that are painted and just need a bit of basing before I list them....

But here is the link for todays auctions:

Click to see a bunch of 'still in the blister packs' stuff plus some classic out of production Chaos stuff including the original Centaur models and an the first ever Beast of Nurgle!!

Hooboy, it's a Lammasu! It's got a head that I WANT! WANT NOW!
No, seriously, I really need a Lammasu head. Who can offer one (even without the rest). If no-one can, please be a gentleman and pm me your intended high bids for the Lammasu model prior to bidding; if you don't intend to blow an insane wad of cash on this beauty, I think I'll outbid you anyway...

Lammasu...

I have to tell a story about a Lammasu I once knew...

Back when 3rd ed premiered, my buddy had a GF who bizarrely, loved playing RPGs and warhammer type games. She set herself up with an Undead team and proceeded to rip the rest of our teams to shreds with her mummies.

However, her gimmick was this: she saw the Lammasu mini at the store one day and bought it "because it is pretty". She put it together and called it her team "mascot". All the way through each match, when she would roll a lucky roll, she would stroke the Lammasu and say, "Nice Lammasu, nice Lammasu." When she rolled poorly, instead of yelling "Nuffle Sucks" like normal people (IMHO anyway), she would spank the Lammasu and say "BAD! BAD Lammasu!"

I cannot help but think of that every time I hear the name Lammasu...

Yep, got a little carried away there...

I have just been asked to sell 2 hugh collections for a friend and have seen the original Chaos Centaur models, the original Nurlge Planquin, plus loads and loads of other original Beastmen and Chaos stuff. To be honest I never bother to check the GW site as stuff is sometimes quite difficult to find there anyway. Still, glad to see that it is only on a fiver so far so no-one is being conned. I will write a little 'add on bit' to the auction the next time I'm listing... (tomorrow probably).

Well thanks if it was a TBB'er, I have updated the Nurgle Palanquin as apparently that is not OOP either  . I will have to check out the GW online store more often...
