Cheapest is for 2GBP from MO-UK. They still sell it even when it does not appear on their on-line archive, but you have to call them and give them the old product code number. I've done it, others here have done that too.

You can do all of your order via phone. You just tell the guy what you want and he does a search at his pc and adds it to your order, when it comes to the chainsaw goblins you tell him "chainsaw wielding loony" and if he says he can't find it give him this code: 073387-24. Takes quite a time as the PC of the MO-Trollz is slow and tends to crush in the middle of your order, furthermore you have to spell him your name, adress and credit card infos.
Good practise for your English...

the only one I've ever gotten from GWMO is the 'new' one. (not the one on Galak's site)

What Dave has dubbed the "new one" is just a variant of the 2nd ed chainsaw goblin, like Dark Elf Catcher#3 und Orc Lineman#4 which are variants of their counterparts.

For some reason those variants never had a product code of themselves and were mixed into the normal stock, so when you ordered a Goblin Chainsaw there was a chance that you got the variant. Dave really must have rolled many doubles in this regard.

Galaks list is not perfect (it still labels many minis as unreleased which were actually released) and it misses the Goblin Chainsaw variant.

I think they might have had some mould troubles and have silently replaced the 'old' chainsaw gob with a 'new' one, the one I have gotten through MO several times now, and so have you narcotic and has tim and many others ..

I'm not sure, as there is a pic of a painted "teethy" goblin chainsaw in some late 80s White Dwarf (he is painted like Alex from Clockwork Orange). Trav once posted the pic here.

So, I still stick to my "variant theory"

P.S.: maybe the mould of the smiley chainsaw dude got damaged, and the variant is much more common now bc it's the only one left???
