Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
Looks interesting, and a fraction of the GW/Forgeworld price.
I've placed an order, so I'll let y'all know how good/flimsy it is when it arrives.

Even if it is just a hollow shell, at the price they charge you can just flip it and give it a nice reinforcement of Plaster of Paris or some other cheap easy to use material and your golden. I am Impressed with most of the terrain also.
Vacuum-formed? Just use the pieces themselves to make molds. Cover 'em up with a good coat of silicone moldmaking compound, then cast plaster in 'em. It'll work like a charm.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.
Especially the river sections are quite useful even if they are a bit flimsy if used "as is"...
Think I'll have to order some stuff for my 40k table...
About plaster casting... Take the stairs on the top of this page for example. Think it'd die a quick and painfull death and get chipped pretty damn quick if it was cast in plaster. "Oops, the blood thirster fell over and brought half of the stairs with him."
I'd rather fill up the terrain piece with plaster to reinforce it as the plastic is more durable to surface wear.
hm , i´m just thinking to buy a " mechanical fret saw" or "scroll saw " (german: Dekupiersäge )... not a cheap thing, but maybe worth because i like to work with wood.
well, ehm, yes, ok, i bought it at ebay few hours ago
...lets see what i can do with this " monster ". I was thinking about a no BB wooden stadium for "Pitfighter" ... kind of Shakespear theather.

Don't cast in Plaster of Paris...it's bloody garbage. What you want is dental plaster, you could take something cast in this and throw it at the wall and probably hurt the wall more than the piece.
Look at Hirst Arts for more on dental plaster and casting with it, you'll see it's mad stuff.
