Just a quick update for anybody thats interested. The guy delivered the Figs to my house on saturday, all in good order. But this may not stop them from being sold by him again in the future, my thanks to snots and others for the warnings about this guy, as i`m sure he would have happily ripped my of as well if i given him half a chance.

i Asked him before end of auction if he would deliver as it was the only way i was going to bid on the auction, he said yes. A couple of times after the auction he said he could send them if i sent the money to him, but i refused explaining to him that i wasnt about to send £120 to someone with zero feedback. So cash on delivery as agreed. Simple really

I know this is nothing to do with me but - If I had been you, knowing that the seller had f*cked over memebers of this board and having arranged a meeting with this tosser, I would have also invited the aformentioned shat-on memebers of the board (Norse at least) to accompany you in the meeting in order that they might reclaim some of thier losses (or at least beat the shit out of him).

Its all fine for you but if it had been me in your shoes I would not have felt at all happy with myself for passing up an opportunty to help out innocent memebers of this board who had been shafted by him. In fact I feel quite annoyed with you for doing nothing (though it may be cos Im still feeling so cross after reading this entire topic

Yeah you`re right i should have invited Norse (Holland), Snots & Thrud (US) all the way to the UK to give this bloke a damn good hiding.
Alternatively i could have just sorted him out myself, i gave this ample thought and suprisingly decided that the sentance for GBH wasn`t worth taking even for the sake of the "Innocent members of the board".

Underdog i really think you need to grow up, people dont beat the shit out of people on a regular basis at least not where i`m from.

The way i see it i was in a unique position of being able to get these miniatures off of the market, if someone else had won the auction then you can virtually gaurantee that they would have been another person to add to the list of people who had lost money.
There are 2 parties at fault is this hole business,neither of which is me, the seller and ebay.

You didn't do the world a service. You just encouraged him. The fact is that the seller got paid again for the minis. You just happened to get them from him. It's not going to keep the auction off the market. I'm not really sure how I would have handled the situation if I were in your place so I can't fault your actions but, after reading Underdog's comments, I find myself agreeing with him. I do know for certain that I would have told the seller all that I knew. About Thrudd's deal and mine/Norse's. That you do know his real name and that you really don't appreciate his dealings. I'm absolutely positive that he feels completely immune to any repercussions and just knowing that someone within arms reach knows what a piece of $hit he is may have an effect where nothing else will.

I'm so angry at the way he treats people I'm shaking just thinking about it. I thought this was behind me, clearly it's not.
