Some American flower of an undescript sort offered something for sale, but Frenchies weren't allowed to bid on it because some french people hadn't payed him at previous auctions and because of the french attitude towards the war in Iraq. This was all expressed in rather a rude way...

Yes, it was very primitive but I don't think he ever mentioned that French are not alllowed to bid on his auction. I think he (rightly) assumed that no French would willingly bid.

I seem to remember him telling Frenchies not to bid, but it's a while ago, I might be wrong...
