Hi Eisenhorn,
please take a look at the first post.
If you can supply a similar "full team" pricing example, and a link or 2 to painted BB minis, I'd be happy to add you to the list.
Cheers
Martin

Looking for Possible Painters for Hire

Anyone do any painting for hire?

I have tried a couple services, not to excited about any of them, well, 1 I did like but they were mega expensive. At any rate, I have a few projects to complete, with not enough time to do them all. Looking to farm a couple out.

Looking for someone who understands the terms, 'Thin your paints', 'Layering', 'highlighting'. Ink Monkeys should die. Also.. if you think that glue works great for a gap filler... dont bother contacting me either. :)

Not really concerned with speed as I am with nicely looking models. I'd pay my wife to paint them, but she wants to much... Dinner.. Movie.. BLAH! :puke:

So if you are interested in taking on a project, I have.. um... about... 4 of them. Here is what I have:

Wood Elf Team (Box + Treeman + Few extras)
High Elf Team (Box + Jordell)
Elf Team (Box + Other Star Player which escapes my mind ATM)
Amazon Team (Box + Blister)
Vampire Counts (16 Thralls + 6 Vamps (1 Lord) + Count) - This is the one I really want to paint, really dying to check out a couple of these Vajello (sp) colors, but if someone has mad skills painting this team, I'd entertain ideas.

So here is the fun part... All projects that are farmed out, will be left to the creative minds of the artist. There are a couple stipulations as things that I would like done, but as far as colors and what not.. all up to you.

So.. if you are interested, please contact me at shennessy@wi.rr.com. Please provide a link, or samples of your work, a basic quote for the job, a rough guess for turn around. I do understand that untill I send you exactly what I am wanting done, that your quote will vary. All models are bare, in box. Need Cleaned, Flashed, Filled, Primed, Painted, Based, and dull coated. I pay shipping both ways, and I tip.

So give me a shout. PM or Email.

first post on this site but i thought id add my services to the list. first my name is Fil Dunn and i work as part of the G.W studio painter team alongside razza and anja (i think both had sold on this site already). i have a bad case of blood bowl fever and am usually available for commision work.
for a team painted to Codex/studio quality i charge £250 for a full team of 15 players and one big guy thats assuming you provide the figures. the price is fairly high but for studio quality that represents about 65 - 70 hours work

feel free to contact me with any questions.

Hi all!
I've started up a painting service with Blood Bowl figures and teams a speciality. I've got 20 odd years of painting experiance and used to work for GW in their Truro store. I've sold a fair bit on Ebay and some pieces to some chaps on here (Hey Valen, how's the new team? )
Prices are £100 for 16 figures painted to a high standard; if that's a bit too much, individual figures start at £2.00 each.

Here's the website address http://cornishmikey.mysite.orange.co.uk/index.jhtml

Either send me a private message on here or by email - address is at the bottom of my sites homepage

Guys,

Cornishmikey just did a team for me and I'm happy :-) The figures are painted to a great quality so now I've a nasty Orc Team. Last figure to come shortly so they'll hopefully be going to AusBowl this year. First chance to play them

BigD

PS - Will be posting pictures here to show them off. Really happy with his work and the time taken

The apoca-6 link dosent work.

Is there anyone that does conversions in addition to the painting? That would definately be worth extra money for me, because while I hate to paint I can still manage. But conversions... with 4 thumbs and half an indexfinger that is pretty hard for me. :)

Love this thread. It is worth it, to me, if I get enough of quality for my money.

Wich ones have you guys tried out, and what did you think about what you got?

a complete team painted at aprox 88 dollar a team.
However, whatever they say in the frontpage is a bit misleading,. I have recieved an offer frmo them, however they say they do not get the 35% adverticed discount on GW items (citing specialist game does not give them this discount) and the standard lineman is no longer the infantry (at 3,5 dollar, but the more expencive 5,5 dollar each.
So I have not yet asked them to do anything, yet. As I saw thay have helped a fellow dutchman, I am going to ask him for advice first.
