because I can't be bothered with someone who seriously thinks that "getting all my regular bidders to boycott your auctions" is a viable threat, or who is so arrogant they can't laugh at themselves.

Okay ... I have no problem with a person who uses Ebay for profit. So purchasing lot auction and then selling the figs as individual figs ... if it works ... more power to you. I did the same a few years back.

HOWEVER ... when I'm looking for Blood Bowl auction and I get flooded with Table Tennis and Heroclix auctions ... THEN ... you've pushed me WAY past where I'm willing to allow you to go. Especially since that is a direct violation of Ebay's posting rules.

I've bought a few things from MT - there are occasions when his world of auctions is quite handy... But they can get a bit tedious to trawl through sometimes - and for those moments there's the advanced search option which lets you exclude sellers to your heart's content.

Me, I'll keep trawling through, looking for gold :D .

I have no problems trawling through BB auctions ... but not Heroclix and Table Tennis ... THAT is Keyword Spamming AND it is completely not allowed under Ebay policy.

He he.
I thought I was the only one pissed off at the guy's crazy high prices. It's good to see some other people ranting. I especially like his "pro painted" works with partial base coats sloppily applied. Geez.

I wouldn't necessarily worry, if I were you. I've bought a couple things from him a while back, when I simply couldn't find them anywhere else (and before I was aware of how out-of-whack some of his prices were, and before his table tennis spamming started), and to his credit, he actually did better than I expected on the combined shipping charge and got them over to me in the US in a relatively speedy manor.

So if you were willing to pay the winning bid price, you shouldn't be concerned: he takes care of his sales properly. It's just his high prices and keyword spamming to which people take offense. I'm not sure if I'd buy from him again and support such tactics, but I really can't complain about the purchase I did make.

I've sent him emails asking him very nicely to stop the keyword spamming ... never bothered to return the message.

There's a whole load of his stuff up again...all listed as OOP.
To be fair, a lot of it is (second edition)...but he hasn't bothered to check which second ed players are still in production.

Post by DarkFang »

Been in contact with this seller recently. He states you were not reported to Ebay on this? Is this just a gag or something?

Just to set record straight on this:
I understand you have had your nose put out of joint for some reason ref this but to set records straight?, If you recall firstly you used my pictures to sell your item which I stated I had no problem with and I initially asked you to withdraw references to my auction as it was not ebay policy for one seller to critisize another. To paraphrase:

"Dear 1nd1go, It came to my attention when several of my regular customers reported the coments you had made. They have agreed to bouycot your auctions based on this. I reported this infringement to e-bay (as per below) I don't know what I have done to get this sort of comment but I politely request you remove the comments & item immediately or I will have to file for further action. regards, Jason"

Therefore this came to my attention as another buyer reported it. 2 buyers stated they didn't think this was a fair way to sell items and stated they pledged to bouycot your auctions. I only passed on their comments to you and did not report it to ebay as discussed.

Following a string of e-mails the two of us actually appeared to agree that I was a bit oversensitive in my reaction to this and wished you well with your sale (which actually sold for more than my lot did) I also offered to allow you to utilise any of my other pictures if the needs arose there by thinking we were on good terms. I didn't expect to get additional bad vibes herewhich only recently came to my attention. No hard feelings - just wanted to state my case.
regards,
Jason
