Good point. Are you sure about the women stuff though? They weren't just pillaging villages for the fun of it?

Perhaps if they are tree like as the 4oK fluff suggests the hair is really long moss ?

I thought the fungus thing was 40K only. I like this model though

On the old school 40K Goffik Rokkas you can actually see the faces of the hair squigs, heh. Good stuff

Wow. We were talking about them last night. I've got 2 sets of the Goffik Rokkas. They're cool. My friend wants to paint a set so he's got one set at the moment and we were talking about the flavor and idea behind them.

In the old 40k orc book "Freebooters" from 2 editions ago, there is orc genstealer-hybrids, and it says they dont breed until very late in their life-cycle. Of course, this doesnt necessarily rule out the plant-thingy.

40K Orks are hairless - fantasy greenskins DO have hair (but not much, unless they're Hobgobbos)

In 40K orcs are grown out of spores. There are no female orks in 40K
Not sure about WFB, methinks I have seen female orcs. (or at least cheerleaders)

Yes, Orcs in fantasy battle haven't discovered the clean and spotless way of reproducing by skin spores (maybe because Da BrainBoyz aren't around in fantasy battle yet?)

Come to think of it... Greenskins are the most numerous race in warhammer but with the look of their females you really can't imagine how they manage to reproduce in the natural way

I can't claim to have painted these. They were painted by a friend of mine. They're in my collection, though.
