The extremely handy thing for me is that they're the identical colours to my club's D6 that we had made. But then, we had them made by the same people who made these new NAF dice so it's not totally unexpected, I guess.

The blue is more of a mid blue than dark blue. They're perfectly legible and will be my block dice of choice from now on.

They're up to £41 now! Wow!

I don't need to get a pension, £5 to the NAF every year until I'm 60 and I'll be quids in with 35 years worth of the things!

Yep, what's up with the GBP41 thing anyway? Were there only 10 sets made or something?

Maybe it's a tax dodge. Person A spends GBP50 on an item, person B gets the cash, person A writes it off against tax....

Any accountants amongst us? Would that work?

No. They made a run for a guy here that went by the name MusedFable. I have several sets of them. Nice but styleized so as not to be too blatant a copy.

I'm new to this NAF stuff - were those dice actually made with real gold leaf or something?! :D

How many years old are they? My orange and yellow ones may go in the loft for safe keeping at this rate!

Black and gold were the first of the NAF dice. I think they were 2002

Wow there are threads all over the place saying the same thing... for total history there is a good thread on the NAF site here...

http://www.thenaf.net/index.php?name=PN ... c&start=60

That is the thread where I post the new dice etc.

For Pgoo.... the Black/Gold were first and there were only about 2000 dice so enough for 666 sets... There were not many members back then and now of course they are rare.

Cool, good thread, Lycos.

Still, £60 for a set of 3 dice, I mean I know now they're rare but... :o

I got my full, 22 model, well painted Woodie team for £50 on e-bay - puts it into perspective rather! I'll still be taking good care of my orange and yellow ones, you never know in ten years time!
