Silly delete button went away after I posted that second one. No I need to come up with something interesting to fill this space. I've been at work too long though and I can't think of anything so this is all you get.

FINALLY! I have been waiting since you posted the poll asking which colours the cases should be. I am ordering one Monday, guarenteed. I really like the removable insert pieces, gives flexibility to what can be carried.

Cheers Snew - couldn't remember if it was mercury or graphite I wanted for my second one.

No.

Reason for that is that in my opinion ... there are a lot of decent cases out there once you get bigger than this.

What was missing was a nice durable carrying case that was specially designed to hold just one team. This was a niche we were willing to get involved in. Once you go bigger there are too many competitors for us to really get involved.

Tom- can I get that white case? No metal plate.
Done!

Yeah Torg ... you need to get the folks from Canada to come down to the Chaos Cup. $15 for a case at that event and only $17 with the metal plate :D

Wish that was possible, really do. I guess if I win the lottery, I'll be down for the Chaos Cup this year. Hopefully some year I'll make it. (so many tournies, so little money).

Story of my life. :(

Tom, the colours I want are oming across the pond, soI'm going to save Gav's luggage space and wait till they get here. Might still need a board though (waiting to hear if he'll have room).

Understable, I was merely asking since I would prefer at the moment a case in which I could transport 1-2 teams and my 2nd ed board at the same time. Nevertheless, I must say your cases look good and I would think of them otherwise.

Do you have an Impact! sticker made up for the outside of the cases?

Those look great btw. I am pretty happy with my Charon case but I'm going to pick one of these up anyways. It will travel better.

How would you fit a 16 man chaos dwarf team in there with 2 bulls and a mino

I believe its one square short just to be awkward, or an ogre team?

Ogre team won't work unless you are using 2nd edition Ogres. Admitted. But I wasn't going to oversize the case for that one exception.

But it can definitely do a full 16 man CD team.

One 4 square for the Minotaur

1/2 of a 4 square for one Bull Centaur

Merge 2 of the normal player squares for the 2nd Bull Centaur

You'd have 14 squares left for your 13 remaining players. No problems.

They are now in the store.

Good New, Bad News:

Good News:
The cases are now available for order from anywhere in the world.
The Canadian prices dropped for the cases and cases with metal plates.
The price for cases with metal plates for Euros dropped a lot.
The prices for cases and cases with metal plates for Australia dropped a lot as well.

Bad News:
We had to raise the price a bit on the GBP price. Basically I started packing up the cases to go to Valen in the UK and realized that the box was just going to be too large to meet the requirements of the method of shipping that we had to use. In order to make it work I'd have to send only 20 at a time instead of 40 to the UK branch. However when I worked about the cost per a unit of shipping only 20 at a time ... it was going to make the cases more than if I just shipped them directly from the USA branch. So... that is what we are going to do.

====

So they are up and for sale right now in the Impact! store.
