The shill-bidding seller is suspended (at least for the time being).
Oh and the paint job on those necros is terrific.
$255 (current price) is a lot of money for groceries, but I agree with DW that this auction is worth CONSIDERABLY more.
If each mini took him 2 hours, then it works out as about $6 per hour.

Before you criticise someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when they find out, you're a mile away...... and you have their shoes.

Worth it? For a lazy person maybe. It really depends what a ready-painted fig is worth to you.
I'd rather pay twenty to thirty quid for a team and paint it myself - even if the standard is not as good as one I could buy from Ebay.
If you're a Zombie-type who despises painting then fine.

That said, if I won big on the lottery, then watch me go!

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

OK, I'll addendum that: would you rather buy a ready painted team like that, or pay someone you know and who will do a colour scheme of your choosing (or mutual agreement) rather than generic wood elf green and yellow.
If I wanted a team painted for me, I'll drop Firebreather or Indigo a PM.

Hello to all
I just discovered this forum by accident a few days ago, and I have been meaning to post since then. Lost of great stuff here! I have played BBowl for many years, and I wish I had found out about this site long ago!
Anyway, it was quite a suprise to get to this topic and see my auction in the thread! Yes, the Necro time was painted by myself, with an assist from my wife on the zombie minis.
We both paint minis full time, but we have certainly painted more BBowl figures than anything else. It is how we got started, in fact. We did a few dozen commission teams for the other coaches in our various leagues, and thought that we should try ebay and see what might happen.
When it comes to miniatures, there is nothing more fun than creating a BBowl team! I have constructed 3 stadiums over the years, along with a dozen other more portable fields. The most insane project by far was for my chaos dwarf team.. the Icebergs. The field was painted to look like a hockey rink, and the stands had two dozen penguins up to various kinds of mischief
It also included a polar bear turn marker. I have sculpted several figures, including an entire lizardman team (which saved a lot of money). Eventually I will get some pitures posted for you guys.
Until I get the new miniatures-only website up and running, the only place I have to post teams is on CoolMiniOrNot. If you PM me, I can send people jpegs should you want to see how crazy we have gotten!
Even now, I am working on a few new teams.
Well, time to get back to painting.

Hmmm...
I wouldn't feel right buying a team that is pre-painted, no matter how nice they were, that isn't to say that I wouldn't let people paint models on my team (like if they had never painted a slayer and they wanted to, I'd say go for it, and I'd use that model, but I'd tell people "so and so painted it I like it") Also I don't look down on people who do use teams that are pre-painted, there is nothing wrong with that, BUT one thing that isn't cool is when people with pre-painted teams claim that they hate playing with something painted by someone else, then don't do anything about it! Some guy in our last league did this and he even mentioned it all the time, GOD I just wanted to kick him in the mouth!

Imagine flying into someone else's country and killing it's leader with a cane. And then taking all thier money. Well he's Scrouge McDuck and I guess he can do whatever the flip he wants.
