Looks a bit like a GW witch/vampire hunter (wide brimmed hat, long cloak)

What is it?

it's an old (1988?) wizard. I want him for a head coach.

No, it must be older. He does not appear in the catalogue(s). I guess he is one of the numerous C-02 wizards from 1985 they converted later to slota-base minis. It could have slipped my eyes, but I doubt that this is a special range mini.

P.S: I know where you have the picture from.

Yep, some of his minis were interesting to buy, but the guy has crazy prices and if you add S&H it's just insane.

Oh, damn, forgot to check the AD&D range. So, obviously it's not a C-02 Wizard

Got some of those minis, but sold all of them some years ago.

Hmmm. He runs the same deal for shipping that I do. I can't be insane. Maybe I am. I don't know. Spend $50 and he picks up shipping charges. That's not a bad deal. In fact, it's about the best deal running.

I meant, Insane shipping cost = to pay overseas shipping for just one mini, if you buy a lot it's different. But usually I just need 1-2 mini from the same seller.
And giving world wide free shipping for over 50.00US$ is easy for someone who puts 7.50US$ as a starting price for a single mini. I think 7.50 starting price for one mini is a rip-off (it's not like he prices just the rare/demanded minis that way, that's his normal price for single minis). And giving off 5.00US$ for shipping is maybe nice but just blurs his overall high-end prices.

Makes sense.

The auction I saw pretty much said $5 anywhere, free over $50. That's what I do. I think that's a good deal. I didn't take into account the starting prices. I've sold a lot of minis to this guy. He's paid some premium prices for his stash of minis. I know where he's coming from.

Shipping is my biggest bugbear. Handling too. It costs money to post an auction, accept PayPal, buy tape and such, and run to the post office. Some of those are minor, I admit, but they do add up. I'm usually happy just having someone help out towards it all. I often loose money charging $5.00 flat-rate for shipping. I just hope it's a wash with the others that come in under $5.00. I don't think it does, though.

It's all hardest on the poor guy that just wants one of your items. He's the one who's picking up the slack created by sellers trying to keep the prices of their shipping down to a reasonable level (that's me as well).

Any time I'm just looking for a single mini, I expect to pay $10-12 for it after shipping. That price decreases dramatically as the after the first few minis but levels off after that.

Actually, it's free market.

I'm completely ready to cover all S&H expenses when I buy something, that's not the problem.
It's his right to put the starting price he wants and it's fine to have free shipping (even if that's a minor psychological trick to get the customer to buy more  ).

Such mini's appear on ebay.uk for 1BSP starting price in common, or 3-6 pieces for 5.00BSP and end up 2-3times their starting price. Seeing this happen, it makes really no sense for Europeans to start bidding in such auctions unless you want to buy 10+ items you otherwise would not get or would take a really long time to find.
If the guy would have set a starting price of 1-3.00US$ each, I would have bid on 2-3 items with 6.00US$ max bid. Or he should have made them instant buy for 7.50US$, that's fine, too. But I got the strange feeling he wanted to squeeze the max. profit out of this.
But as I said, he has the right to charge whatever he wants, and I have the right to reject his offer
