Figure Cases

Post by Jembo17 »

Does anyone own a 'Battle Foam' figure case?

Just wondered how they compared to others such as KR, etc.

Figure Cases

I have had battlefoam in the past for warmachine. The foam is denser than kr.

Personally I wouldn't pay extra to get a battlefoam case instead of a kr one.

Kr cases are my primary army/team transport and you can't go wrong with them

I've no experience of Battle Foam, but KR are excellent - I've used them exclusively for at least 8 years.

Thanks for that. Was just looking at the prices on the Battle Foam website and thought they were a tad pricey, and for that kind of money I was thinking they might do something special in addition to transporting your figures for you(!).

I've just got a 50 fig KR case and its great. I can fit the board in, too, and it has a front pocket for dugouts, dice, templates etc.

I'm very new to the game so don't have much stuff yet but just glad I don't have to cart it round in the original box, which doesn't look like it would last more than a couple of trips!

Thought I would just add that I recently purchased the Aquila 4 from KR and got the Blood Bowl specific interiors (BB1 / BB2 on their website).

Must say I've been really impressed, the new BB interiors are much much better fit for big guys ... plus they come with the foam still in the holes (a little bit like a "pick and pluck") which works really well if you leave it in the holes you aren't using as it gives it a little bit more rigidity and shape to the foam. I'm sold, and I would highly recommend them.
