Don't know if that bugs you at all.
Yep I felt the same way, but I looked at the ones I have just came out of a GW hard plastic team box from the 80's and they are also quite shiny models. And stripping using brake oil and detergent with ultrasounds, like some big sellers do, makes them shiny.
I took the chance. Will let you know. Seller is the.last.nazgul (16804) not known to me for being a recaster.
Amazing? It's amazing the amount of recasts I recently bought on eBay a good 10%. 3 Varag and all 3 recast

last one mint in blister I am hoping on that one

(How I know they where recast? One had no details after I stripped from the black primer, one had a very thin tab (just possible sign, since I got them mint in blisters with even thinner or distorted tabs), but compared to my friend model was about 2.5mm slimmer, and 2mm shorter (also not a for sure sign) but it was just not right, the third one had a very brittle metal, and when bent it snapped, then I dropped it on the floor and it broke in half... GW went form a high lead to white metal in 25 years, so there are many metals out there, at least 5 or 6, but none of them when slightly bent will snap. Same metal used in Chinese recast.
inkpwn still interested in selling me the ones I am missing?
