Looking for figures

Hello, fellows

I'm an old retired player, I star with the game in 2002, and my love was so big, that I collect and paint 20 teams.

In my country, me and my friends play awesome tournaments and leagues for over 4 years, my collection was huge and fun, I built stadiums, new rules etc

but one day, that I never forget, an idiot took my case, full of teams, and I lost 15 of the 20 teams...

the undead, the norses, the amazons, the orcs (2 teams), the chaos, the dwarf, the chaos dwarfs, the wood elf, the hihgh elf, the dark elf, the bretonnians, the humans, the skavens and the lizards, were lost, with a bunch of different referees, star players and big guys.

I know it was useless to search... the figures have no monetary value here, and the thive take the box by mistake... if he was a regular burglar, he will not find any use for the figures, and if he was a fan, he have to dissapear, because all the figures were unique in the whole country, and no one else plays Blood Bowl, and also, the few people that could be interested, knows me...

the five teams that survive (female elf, nippon, female humans, khemri and my very peronal team, the humans with Griff), go to a box, and star to gather dust for over five more years... Until one day, when a friend of mine, ask me for help to play Blood Bowl the video game.

He just do not understand the game, and I, with a pain in my soul, choose to help...

AND IT WAS GREAT!

altought I do not play the game for years, I remember the old human strategy, all the rules, the movements... for the first time, my pal scores a touchdown

that experience makes me think about blood bowl a lot... and I choose to star again with the game.

And then the real world hit me... I cannot find almost anything available... and the basic game is expensive in the GW official web site... I look in ebay, and is the same...

Please, let me know where can I get figures, or if you live in the USA or are willing to send stuff to the USA.

Welcome back. I am sorry to hear that happened to you. There are some great independent retailers that have sprung up over the last few years. Check out Impact! Miniatures to start with. He has a lot of good products at reasonable prices.
