Painted Human team for sale SOLD

Post by Levinas »

Hi,
In an effort to get ready for a house move (and in recognition of the fact that having a toddler about takes a serious chunk of BB time out of life) I'm downsizing my BB collection a little. First up is my human team, they'll end up on Ebay on Thursday but I'm open to offers by PM if anyone on here is interested:

Full team:

Ogre:

Blitzers:

Throwers:

Catchers:

Linemen:

Griff:

When I get round to taking some pictures I've got a full Skaven team to sell (I don't think I need two!) and a couple of unpainted orcs.

hmmm
human plastics $20 on a great day
Ogre $22
$42 full cost (on a great day)
normal discount call it $30
paint $15
makes it about $45 + shipping
I will consider it

Hi daloonieshaman,

Thanks for the interest. The prices for the figures sound about right though you've missed off Chicken-hat Griff and I'm not entirely sure about what the 'normal discount' refers to (I'm assuming you mean careful ebay bidding over time which sounds about right). At under $1 a figure the paint figure seems a little on the low side. I actually thought/think they look pretty nice while your figure suggests the opposite. I guess I may well have completely underestimated the paint quality and/or the value of painted teams and I realise that whatever I might think they're worth in the real world they're only worth what people are prepared to pay. Please do make me an offer if you decide you might like them and we can take it from there.

Thanks - Paul.

Thanks, that's an excellent suggestion. If anyone wants the team at a price we agree on I'd be happy to paint another catcher in the same scheme (although I'd need to be provided with one as I've not got any left).

NOW SOLD.

That teams worth about £50-60 at the very least

Its miles better than most of the "pro painted crud you see on ebay"

A lot of gamers seem to undervalue the time it takes to paint minis, the $15 extra added on for it being painted would be an insult to me!

I know my painting is very cheap for what you get but that borders on ludicrous!

Sorry just had to say!

My Fantasy Football blog with painted minis!

I am selling off full teams that are unpainted as yet but would prefer to sell them painted, I have lots of teams, PM me if you are interested

Thanks, brownrob. I have to admit that the valuation of $15 did surprise me, but I guess ultimately it's buyers that determine value.

As it is I got a price I'm happy with and hopefully one that also suited my buyer too. Once the postmen of our two countries get their respective acts together I'll know how the team goes down with its new owner. As with all things I sell I'll be happy to have it back if needed.

I've just accepted a commission for a Nurgle team which I'm sure I'll enjoy painting up which is a good job as moneywise it's not looking like a major winner!
