Its not a bad price, but IMHO thats cheap, to get a quality painter to paint a team up which is pretty much a specialist service. Dont forget assembling the flipping khemri minis!

A full roster will cost approx £40-50. Now add in the very nice base with the team which could be approx £20 minimum, now that leaves painting time. that leaves approx £60-70 for the painting, which works out at around £3.50-4.50 per mini. He would need to be churning out a mini an hour to be getting what he deserves! For a painter of mikes calibre he likely puts in a good few hours into a mini, say min 2 hours per mini for a standard job, minimum wage is £5/hour and for 16 minis... you get my drift!

When I was selling my flings someone said that it was ludicrously expensive... and it was sitting at about £70, the metal cost £45 , meaning 17 players that looked decent and better then most is only worth £25 extra? I got a better price in the end! Its just a minor annoyance I have with attitudes to painting prices (in no way am i having a go at anyone here!)

Nice work mike, but i think you will do even better if you get better closeup pics which are clearer and sharper.

You can still sent him a mail and ask him for a teaml. He also painted two Anubis players and Hack Enslash and Ramtut for £5 each.

yep, i'm always up for a quick commission!
he likely puts in a good few hours into a mini, say min 2 hours per mini for a standard job

well, hour and a half ish, but i get where you're coming from
better closeup pics which are clearer and sharper.
i've been looking around for a new camera for a while, with a bit of luck any money i've got left over after the repairs will go towards a new camera. At the mo i've got an Olympus D-395, but, yeah, bigger clearer pics would be cool. Any recommendations?
