You are looking at the Grissenwald Griffins, a propainted new human Blood Bowl team of seventeen players - sixteen humans and one Ogre. They are painted in green and white quartered uniform, with red towels as a bit of a contrast. Armour is painted boltgun metal with silver highlights and bronze rivets and details.
The models in the team are two throwers, four catchers, two blitzers and eight linemen. Due to a packing error from GW mail order, i was one blitzer short so i have included a blitzer from Heresy miniatures 'Deathball' range (the figure on the right at the front of the base). There is a duplicate of one lineman (lineman 7 according to the GW site).
The ogre comes from Heresy as well, positioned running forward threatening some unfortunate player with a hammering from his knuckle duster which has 'hurt' inscribed in reverse. The Beermaid comes from Impact! miniatures and is painted in team colours holding a beerstein aloft. A small pyramid of barrels containing 'GG's Premium' and 'Weak lemon drink' are included on a seperate base.
The team mascot is a converted Warmaster griffin, while the head coach is a mail order only model, Marco Columbo also in team colours.
The base measures 30cm x 12.5cm x 3cm in matt black. A gold engraved name plaque is fixed on the front, reading 'Grissenwald Griffins'.
