As I said in my first post it will only be for sale should I need the money. If my Ford stops breaking down for a few months then I'll most probably never sell it.
@Norse: I think you misunderstood me about my 40k army. I spent 2 years painting it all while painting for me is as enjoyable as shoving red hot 9" inch nails up my rectum. So everytime I see it it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside (even tough it's still painted just ok at best) knowing that I hung in there for many, many, MANY hours to get the job done. So I don't relish the prospect of selling it but if that means I can move out of my parent's house 1 month earlier then it's well worth it.
Anyway looks like maybe the team will get some use after all as one of my mates who is taking skaven to the next DO probably won't be able to finish his own team so will maybe take mine.

Tuern, you should trade them with the one who won the last prize at the Brassbowl for his prize!

Even tough the prospect of elf cheerleaders (IIRC) makes me drool I don't think I'll be taking your offer.

While on the topic, how much would a 2nd Ed skaven team (12/13 miniatures) be worth on Ebay if they were painted, but not particularly well at all (Joe average paint job - nothing like those pictured)?

Genuinely interested, because I may get one and Ebay it if it's financially worth it.

how much would a 2nd Ed skaven team (12/13 miniatures) be worth on Ebay if they were painted...

Sorry to say most painted stuff is first poor quality so the market is pretty thin. If they were unpainted they would get £30-35 ish. As painted by a master they may hit over £100 but i have seen very little command the money that it would cost in time to paint to any standard. Around £100 would assume 70 for painting / 13 = £5.38 a figure. Thats near minimum Uk wage - so if you can paint in 1 hour - good move.

Mega old nostalgic team of 2nd ed elves in GW studio paint work sold for about £85 IRC. Honestly never seen anything go £175 plus and thus aint worth the effort. - if your skint i would rather hear you sell a signed rule book than an old team
