ooh - found some cool stuff to sell on eBay in my attic!!

Post by Joemanji »

Sweet! Had a rummage about in my attic for stuff to possibly sell on eBay, and amongst the usual GW tat and WD magazines I found:

* A boxed-as-new SNES with Super Mario All-Stars. A similar item is going at the moment for 46 quid!!! :o Sweet! :D

* Various BB Halfling and Goblin figs (some 2E, some 3E). In good nick, so they might fetch a couple of quid each. Or I could sell them in a bundle for margaretthorn to buy! lol

* Mint condition copies of the original Necromunda rulebook and sourcebook (1995) SIGNED by ALL THREE of the designers - Rick Priestly, JJ and Andy Chambers. They could go for nothing or, with the right bidders, do quite nicely.

* Mint condition copy of the original 2nd edition Warhammer 40,000 rulebook (1993) SIGNED by BOTH of the designers - Rick Priestly and Andy Chambers. Again, could go either way - are signiatures even worth anything on GW items? Who knows? :)

* A load of 4th and 5th edition magic item and spell cards. There are no similar items at all on eBay at the moment, so they might sell okay... you never know.

Joe :D

I haven't put them up yet (bit of an eBay newbie in terms of selling). Unfortunately it is the Goblins that are 2nd ed, not the Halflings! lol :D

In fact, having just gone and checked again, I only have 1 2nd ed figure (of the gobbo pogo-er). Though I am sure I have the 2E chainsaw loony somewhere... hmm...

Cheers

Bingo! After a further search in my attic, I found one 2nd ed chainsaw looney amongst some armless Space Marines. Here he is:

The one I have is in decent condition, attached to a slottabase (gaps filled) and spray undercoated white. That is a crappy picture - he looks a hell of a lot better than that (surprisingly for an early production GW fig - usually it is the other way round).

PM me an offer... :)

Oh, and I also found a 2nd ed Greaser Geargrinder if anyone wants to make an offer for that in the next few hours, we can bypass eBay altogether. :)

There were 2 versions of that guy. The one in the picture with the stupid look on his face and then there's one with an evil grin that is showing his teeth.

Very odd, during the collector's craze here at TBB in early 2003 the Teethy-chainsow-Gobbo was discovered and it was quite hard to locate one of them. During 2004 the situation has changed and mostly teethy ones were appearing while the dopey looking has become scarce.

For those that care, I have two 2nd ed. Goblin Pogo-ers: #3 and #4. :D Though I am about to put all this stuff on eBay since I have had no offers from TBB-ers. :)
