Starting BB

Post by Pkallday »

I am looking to get into Blood Bowl and am trying to find the essentials needed to play. I downloaded the LRB but need a team to start playing, maybe even two so I can get some friends interested. I really like the models for the Lizardmen and would eventually like to use them. Anything anyone has that I could use I would appreciate, just let me know what you are asking for it. Any advice anyone could give me would be appreciated as well.

My email is pkallday@yahoo.com or you can pm me.

Thanks!

You can check out E-bay, its pretty easy to pick up reasonably priced stuff from there, including pitches and counters,
That would be where I'd look first. 8)

good idea

That sounds like a good idea, I'm just having trouble determining what is the current edition of stuff to get. I want to make sure I'm not getting old stuff that I can't use because they changed the rules.

The latest edition of the rulebook can be downloaded online.

Living Rulebook 3.0 should be placed online shortly, but 2.0 plus the rules patch should get you started :D

3rd edition pitch is the one most people use.
Its the green one that folds up with the score thingies along the sides.
The minis are entirely up to you.
2nd ed ones are fairly pricy, so stick to the 3rd ed ones, you may be able to pick up some plasticteams off ebay, and usually there are some boxed ones up too.
