I am interested in this auction. Please contact me if you are as well so we can avoid "clobbering" each other.

I am primarily interested in the Treeman, so perhaps a deal can be struck with someone who just wants the halflings.

Is that one of the rare Treemen?

It doesn't look like it by the hands (has the balled fist), but the head could be one of the ones without a face mask.

I'm confused, I thought the fist hand was the rarer of the type of Treeman hands. I keep ending up with the "surfer dude" open handed Treemen.

Looking at Galak's site. The treeman with the fist (Treeman 1) is OPP not Very Rare. He does say that the mold was broken so they switched to the "surfer dude".

It does say that the heads without the Face Mask were not widely released. The treemen with those heads are listed as "Very Rare".

That's what I was looking at.

The fist is commoner than the others.

Yes and no.

Depends on when you were buying the fig.

The fist was the used extensively when the 2nd edition Treeman was released (in fact the general release of the fig was with the balled fist).

However at some point, I'm not sure they ran into problems with the balled fist torso and switched to the surfer dude hands.

Example: I purchased 15 BB Treeman from the Archive 4 years ago and all 15 were surfer dude torsos.

So when the fig was truely 2nd edition, the ball fist was more common. However, if you were ordering from the archive in the last 2 to 3 years of the archive still selling them, you got surfer dude arms.

Anything I say is totally opinion and (knowing my luck) probably completely wrong. Keep this in mind.
