SquadChaos are proud to announce the Pre-NAFC 7's at Warhammer World is a go!

We will be running a 7's event at Warhammer World on the Friday night before the NAFC (03/05/2024)

Tickets are £5 to cover cost of trophies, any surplus will be put into the SquadChaos Charity pot. Payable to SquadChaosSevens@gmail.com - please send as friends/family and include "pre-nafc 7's", and your naf name & number in the text. Any payments not following this will be taken as donations to the charity pot.

We prefer that all participants are NAF registered. This can be arranged on the day or you can head to https://www.thenaf.net/about-the-naf/join-the-naf/ and sign up in advance

Registration from 1730, first game starts at 1800, and will consist of 3 x 1hr games.

Blood Bowl Sevens is different from regular Blood Bowl in a few important ways.

Squad Chaos Pre NAFC Sevens follows the rules as per the latest Blood Bowl supplement - Death Zone with the team building exceptions below

It is a shorter, smaller, faster variant of the game, played by amateurs who tend to fall over a lot.

Resurrection Tournament

Because this is a short tournament with games back to back, the scouts for the Pro leagues won't have time to take players off to the draft, and we will be using Resurrection type rules as well.

Team Building

Teams are built to a budget of 600,000 gold coins.

Teams can take any Sevens inducements. Wizards, cards, desperate measures, mercenaries and star players are banned.

Teams can be selected from any of the 28 (I.e no Slann)

Only GW miniatures can be used, and Slann are not allowed to be used unfortunately (these rules are not up for discussion - it's their house, their rules - if you can't abide by this, please do not attempt to play).

Teams can only have a maximum of 11 players on the roster.

Maximum of 4 positionals per team.

You may purchase team rerolls.which cost double their normal price. We do discourage this behaviour though.


Skills Package
Each race receives a number of skill points dependent on their Tier.
Primary skills cost 1 skill point
Secondary skills cost 2 skill points
No stacking of skills is allowed.

Amazon, Dark Elf, Elven Union, High Elf, Skaven, Underworld Denizens, Wood Elf

Tier 2 (3 Skill Points)
Chaos Renegades, Human, Imperial Nobility, Lizardmen, Norse, Old World Alliance, Orc, Vampire

Tier 3 (4 Skill Points)
Chaos Chosen, Chaos Dwarf, Dwarf, Khorne, Snotling,

Tier 4 (5 Skill Points)
Black Orc, Necromantic Horror, Nurgle, Shambling Undead, Tomb Kings

Tier 5 (6 Skill Points)
Goblin, Halfling, Ogre

Essentially deadline will be the check in on Friday 3rd May.
Banning Leader is to promote racial variety and slightly nerf Skaven, Dark Elves etc.

I'm not taking part - but this seems like old NAF 7's rules rather than current Death Zone rules with the half positionals?

It's a hang over from when Thor ran it and he didn't want to change the rules even after Death Zone was released.

I don't think the Leader ban is allowed according to the last NAF minutes. Can you confirm @eldritchfox?

If you check the current approval doc it will show that banning skills was never allowed anyway. Just some events slipped through. As for the question about whether this will need to be updated or not that is for the TD, Stimme, and I've asked him.
