Trambi -- we have two trolls, six regular goblins, two goblins with secret weapons, and two cheerleaders. Right now, that's 10 playable goblins and two coaching staff.
I know Grumble sent a normal gobbo, and I think Anthony sent one normal and one "flying". I believe Lightningbug is contributing another Troll (backup, or maybe a coach.)
That would give us a total of three trolls, eight normal gobbos, two with secret weapons, and one "flying" gobbo to be used as a counter or another player, plus two cheerleaders.

team looks great...suddenly i'm a bit more self-conscious about my painting ability.
it's really great to see how you can have the same basic concept, yet different people translate that to the mini in different ways. some have "pants", some don't. some put stripes on the "boots" some, didn't. makes for a very goblin feel...they all kinda did their own thing a little.

Some of us took our time....wesleytj wrote:team looks great...suddenly i'm a bit more self-conscious about my painting ability.![]()

(Just joking wes, he looks fine!)
Which is kinda a point I've just made on the 2004 brainstorming thread...it's really great to see how you can have the same basic concept, yet different people translate that to the mini in different ways. some have "pants", some don't. some put stripes on the "boots" some, didn't. makes for a very goblin feel...they all kinda did their own thing a little.

I'm with SBG... this is really nice work and it would have been nice to be a part of it... I saw the original post ages ago, but did not bother to read it....
Count me in next time (if I'm not knee deep in my own damn lead!)
Nice work guys...
Norse
PS Thads, your brushwork is on the up mate, looking greatly improved (I hope that doesn't sound condescending, I'm trying to be encouraging
)
PPS Actually... if I can be slightly critical, the team looks great, but things like basing styles and numbering conventions should have finalised during the planning... when I worked for GW, we used to get lists of models to paint for Games Day and everything was covered, from what colour of undercoat to use to what base colour, what highlight etc etc... now that is a bit restrictive to be honest (Gobbos wear whatever they like, huh?) but having all the bases look the same would have pulled the team together I think... something to think about next time maybe...

Actually buying some new brushes helped...
Wait until you see the two teams I'll be bringing over with me in July. Not quite competing with you, Woody and Del yet...but I'm pretty chuffed with the results.The Lightning were done back when the team was first released, so its no wonder they're - to be honest - dodgy.
(actually - I had my Skaven with me at the BB...you probably missed them.)
