Wow ! The results are great so far !
I know I'm freeking late on this, but if there are spaceas available on the team, I could spare a 2nd edition gobbo to be a regular (he told me he would even play the bench, he just wants to be on the team
.
OK, if it's not too late, let me know at cigare@videotron.ca, cause I have huge problems with TBB ! But you can post it here too !

Hm, maybe i´m wrong , but now it seems, after seeing all those nice minis of this team, a lot of people like to " jump the train" ? If i send another mini, will i get two chances to get the whole team, as we got more time for painting another one ?
After all i´m wondering ,why we got a deadline at all. But thats maybe my "german acurate" nature
Just courious, if i´m the only one with this thought. If i´m the only one, just forgot this comment.

That's a good question, Traveller, and it sounds like wesleytj has some similar concerns. On one hand, refusing late arrivals increases everyone's chance to win -- or, rather, prevents our chance of winning from decreasing. On the other hand, more entries means more minis to win, and a more flavorful and complete team.
I've added a poll to get people's opinions.
Keep in mind that we can ALWAYS do another one of these teams. It's been neat seeing all the great minis from so many great painters, and it's a fun little collaboration. Even if we decide to stop accepting late minis, we can always start up another Legacy team.
Right now we have eight minis that I've actually received (plus my own two, one of which is a cheerleader.) So that's a total of nine that could actually be fielded at the moment -- not a complete team, especially for Gobbos who need frequent replacement. We could do up to 16, of course, and even more if we do "weaponless" versions of the Secret Weapon gobbos.

Hmmm.... I have no idea how I confused Trambi and Fondu!
Naturally I know Trambi knows why he sent his troll away (maybe the troll could not be house trained?) so my appologies
As for the late entries thing, I am not concerned about being part of the draw to win the team. I just enjoyed painting up a miniature that may become a part of BB history and be enjoyed by a lucky coach. I would say anyone that missed the origional deadline to send in a mini should be excluded from the draw. That includes me. I would feel somewhat guilty if I won this team after entering late.

Hmm...tricky one. The trouble with deadlines is that sod's law says you have to push the boundaries. (There is almost always frantic last minute painting going on here before a tourney, I'm sure there's very many of us here all too familiar with early hours painting in the preceding week!)
I guess what I'm getting at is that I'd rather see a hard and fast deadline.
Suggest keeping May 1st as the deadline to get them en-route. (That still leaves a full week from now for anybody who wants to contribute.)
So while I'd be happy for more (late) entries, I'd like a definate cut-off point.
And then we can do it again!

I voted for the hard deadline.
I just have to wish that TBB will work more often when the next project comes to life,
If, however, my entry would be accepted (and would let me have a chance to win ! I'm not that altruistic
, let me know ! Maybe by email !

Fondu -- if you can paint one and get it postmarked before May 1, you're welcome to send one in. I can't guarantee an entry, but you can certainly participate. You can find details on color scheme elsewhere on the thread, but the basic idea is to base them off an American NFL football team, The Cincinatti Bengals. (You should be able to search the web and find pictures of players, etc.) Orange and Black are the primary colors, with white pants. Orange tiger stripes on black is pretty common.
We're calling them "The Greenskinatti Bungles".

I missed that post...so sure if that's what it's been changed to, then that's fine with me. End of May should be plenty of extra time.Milo wrote:wesleytj -- At the deadline, we had only six minis. Not much of a team. So, back on page 13, I suggested extending the deadline until the end of May, and didn't get any complaints about it then.
