Guess for me it's still more options that I thought there where previously and does make Female Corp more interesting with their Jacks and 4 cards. :)
This would appear to make the Girls one of the best performing and most interesting teams to play now.

It means they are slow starters, but once they get a card or two and their second Guard, they appear to be one of the better teams.

Good work - how was your tournament? Was it last weekend, or coming up?

Cheers mate, yeah it went really well. The score software worked a dream as well. Still trying to work out what software to use to change the source code.

Any KS backer managed to download the S3 Rulebook from Wargames Vault? I keep getting a 0kb PDF when I try.

So what do you think about Giants? It seems to me they compare pretty badly to Guard MVPs like Buzzcut, Rolat, Firewall and Yurik who are pretty much as hard hitting and tough as Giants but cost half their price and only takes 1 spot on the field.

Dozer is a bit of a bad ass though, he is almost impossible to take out and he slams with 6 dice 3+ strength and 1 free threat hex.

Barricade might be interesting too since he got the move/speed to do something with brush aside and free evades which seems like the really unique thing about Giants.

It wouldn't work on my mobile (Nook), never does, but was easy to do on the PC.

Just had an idea about DreadBall MVPs. Instead of holding auctions for them every round of your league, you could have each MVP available at the start of the league at their minimum cost. Each time they are hired, their price goes up 2mc in the next round. That way, everyone can hire whichever MVP they like; no exclusivity factor (within racial limits, of course) but the popular MVPs would get steadily more expensive, accurately demonstrating demand for their services.

At the start of the next league, prices would return to their starting levels.

Thoughts? I'm wondering if this could maybe result in "good" MVPs out pricing themselves and making neglected MVPs slowly turn into good bargains.

I don't play in a league myself and don't have any real perspective one way or the other. Just thought maybe it'd be a good compromise to avoiding the auction procedure.

They are far too cheap on their starting auction cost. They should probably start at double the price.
