Balor's Brigands Training Game - lost vs Skull White
The game started well for the Orcs with Garry the Hobgoblin failing pick up the ball twice. Unfortunately lack of blocking skill brought Hudson down in the mud and left Garry free to run hell-for-leather into the end zone and score. Garry then ran out of luck trying to use Drake's head for a ball and the ref sent him off, sadly the Black Orc was also carried off on a stretcher. Burke the Goblin tried to get revenge, but he was sent off as well. The second half was a big scrum in the centre and Apone finally managed to dodge out and score. The Blitzer Bishop got awarded the MVP but also got MNG from a block by Creepy.

Jim: Well Sports Fans the Chaos Cup has got off to a blood filled start with Balor's Brigands spending a whole day on the pitch facing off all challenges. For those that missed the show here are the highlights...

Balor's Brigands Drew vs Jared's Eagles (TD 1-1 Cas 7-0, Gold 60k-40k)
It looked like the Humans were going to loose the battle with over half there team carried off the pitch on stretchers. Then on Turn 14 Barney the Blitzer dodged away from Drake and knocked Crowe down just short of the end zone. Drake slipped in the mud trying to catch Barney who heroically threw a long pass. Freddy managed to catch the ball despite pressure from several adjacent Orcs and dodged away to score the touchdown drawing the match.

Balor's Brigands Won vs Pure Cheese (TD 1-0 Cas 5-0, Gold 100k-0k)
It was a fun sight to watch Gorman the Goblin catch the ball and then stroll down the pitch surrounded by his four Black Orc bodyguards. The Rats tried there best but turned out to be cream cheese as they were spread across the pitch by Orcish blocks. At half time they had one Dead, and two serious injuries so conceded the match and tunnelled back underground. This gave the Brigands enough gold to hire a Troll.

Balor's Brigands Won vs Da Sneeky Gitz (TD 2-1, Cas 3-5, Gold 60k-40k)
Playing there third game in a row was starting to tell on even the hardy Orc physique. When faced with a Fanatic and Chainsaw they were dropping like nine-pins. Crowe was able to foul the Saw into the casualty box (the Shaman managed to stop him dying) but no one could not deal with the Fanatic. Thanks to a few bribes neither did the Ref. Next game will be even worse as Fanatic skilled up and got Block! The Pogo-stick bounced over the orc lines and almost made it to the end zone but hit a pot hole. This allowed Frost to get the ball and run up the pitch to score. First half ended with all the skilled Orc's off the pitch. The ball went back and fourth in the second half until finally on Turn 16 Burke managed to knock down the Goblin ball carrier. Hicks could then run in and throw to Jorden who scored. Sadly on Turn 17 (after a riot) Hundson got Niggled stopping the Goblins Fastball special.

Bob: With 13 healthy players and a team rating of 130 the Brigands are now ready to face there next challenge. The Orc's are starting to learn the game now. They have one Blitzer with Frenzy another with Guard. One BOB with Guard & a Thrower with Kick-off Return. Both Goblins are skilled one with Diving Tackle the other with Wrestle.

Balor's Brigands won vs Hundred Feet Heroes TD 2-0 Cas 4-0, Gold 60-10
This game was played in a Blizard with two Pitch Invasions during the second half as the fans were getting bored! Flings lost more players to self inflicted injuries than to the Orcs. Two-by-Four the Treeman was Badly Hurt on a failed GFI Blizing. One Fling saved from death after he crash landed, another went MNG when he failed to land. Unfortunately they could not put enough pressure on Frost to stop his scoring in both halves.

Balor's Brigands Drew vs Baaf Stinkaz TD 2-2 Cas 2-1 Gold 40-30
It was Boyz on Boyz in tonight's game. The Stinkaz hired a Troll and a grunt with Chainsaw to try and give them the edge. Unfortunatly for them the Brigands armour held and the only person the saw cut up was himself before a quick score from Dietrich on Turn 4. With a couple of Black Orcs sleeping it off the Brigands could not quite hold the Stinkaz back and the half finished one all. The second half followed a similar pattern for a two all finish. The Stinkaz took a hit with one Black Orc getting -AG. Both of the Brigands Goblins were sent off for Fouling. Frost learnt to dodge post game after his spectacular Blitz into the end zone on Turn 16.

Balor's Brigands won vs Da Sneaky Gitz TD 2-0 Cas 4-1 Gold 20-20
Goblins induced three bribes, 2 Dirty Trick cards and Bloodwiser Babes. Goblins kicked and it looked bad for the Brigands as the Fanatic smashed apart the cage and one of the Blitzers. Fortunatly the Apothacry was able to put him back together. Tables were turned however on T2 with the Orcs knocking out both Chainsaw and Fanatic. They also left both Trolls prone who promptly decided to have a rest. The rest of the first half was bad for the Goblins and while the Fanatic came back for the second half he was not able to hurt the Orcs enough to stop Ferro getting the ball and running down the pitch to score. It was a funny game with one of the Trolls belly flopping [Piling on] every turn trying to break Orc armour.

Balors Brigands Won vs Bruni's Beinbrottiers TD 2-1, Cas 3-3, Gold 80-20
Norse Induced Yhetee & Bomber. Orcs Kicked and managed to badly hurt the Yhetee in Turn 3. Norse scored Turn 4. Norse got the ball off Hicks on Turn 6 but failed a long pass. Frost was able to hand off to Bishop to equalise at the end of the half. Second half was 9 Norse vs 11 Boyz. Orcs got a touchback so Drake a Black Orc got the ball and marched down pitch scoring in Turn 16. Bomber only stayed on his feet for one turn and fumbled the bomb! Both teams Apothecaries saved a dead player. Unskilled Thrower got -MV and was replaced. Norse got a -ST Lineo. Gorman & Norse Runner were sent off for fouling.

Orc Team Rating is now 153 with Fan Factor 10. Chaos Cup Standing: 5-2-0
Two BOB's gained Block. Frenzy Blizer got MB and Guard Blitzer got Stand Firm.
