Just to bump the topic, I can now confirm my move and will be taking up residency in Sandefjord, Norway. The ferry port connects to Strömstad on the Swedish side, which I will use to my advantage, for gaming and border-shopping alike. :)

It is done mr. Stashman, have you gotten over the serious beating me and topper gave MAFOC this weekend ;)

Anyways we are planning a Danish - Swedish friendly (LANDSKAMP) in april using the Eurobowl rules. Ill return shortly on this, al lot of MAFOC people are comming representing sweden, but if there are other swedes who wants to visit a Copenhagen basement for a day of bloodbowl you'll be very welcome. Dates will be up in a week!

After that weekend we are having serious confidence issues. At least I was playing flings, that helps..

Looking forward to the "LandsKamp!" Name your date and I'l be there.

BTW, Ero-Bowl rules sounds nice and tempting, but I don't think my wife would allow me to use those rules. Can we instead use the Euro-Bowl rules instead? Would be appreciated :P

@Afroman
We use the Erosbowl rules here - comply or complain... You don´t have to invite the wife though ;)

Hope confidence isn´t too low after all... Consider it a wake up call and I honestly believe we were underestimated with our (weak) teams :)

The Danes are pretty good. They are consistently almost as good as us.

I think you need a comma in there and remove the needless binding words so it says:
The Danes are pretty, good, consistent, as good as us.

And I´m honored that you´d say that about us

Really? Noone from StockBowl?

I'm interested and I'm pretty sure some of the other players in our leage would be as well. Sign me up for the list please. :)

Great! The more the merrier!

Let all coaches currently residing in Sweden know about this and write here!!

Otherwise they might miss out on the action..:(

Spread the word. I would very much like to see some representation from Stockholm and Gothenburg.

At least until the end of April i want those intrested to confirm that they with a decent level of certainty want to participate & have booked the weekend & will have the money to pay for trip & participation. Then the process to select the team will be schedualed for May.

Preliminary team selection if needed, no idea how i am supposed to organise them. Based on intrest, spots may change.:
Mid-april
GothBowl winner 1 invitation

Early May
Västra Götaland Qualification Cup 1 spot
Mälardalen Qualification Cup 1 spot
Skåne Qualification Cup 1 spot

Mid May
Fumbble Qualification Cup 2 spots

Late may
Skåne open Filler up cup 2-3 spots+reserve(s).

Ohoj!

I'm very interested in joining. Can't say anything confirmed yet though, as I just noticed this when Mago posted stuff on our Stockbowl forum.

When I win GothBowl with my Goblin-team I'll snag that spot in the team, and it'll be settled by then. :P

On a more serious note though, put me up as tentative, and I'll confirm in this thread later on.

Great initiative, and thanks to the Danes for kicking us lazy Swedes in the arse so we can get this together!

I'm not sure how feasible it is, but a training camp for the entire team would be fun.

We could get to know each other, play some practice games and generally have fun and talk Blood Bowl. :)

Even those of us who will not make the cut could join that event. :P
