A TTM Team

Hmm... just a wild thought. What if there were a big guy which was decent with TTM but not that good in blocking? A trained TTM thrower?

Roster A

"Throwers" 0-2 MA 5 ST 5 AG 2 AV 7 ttm, strong arm, big guy, bonehead
"Cannonballs" 0-12 MA 6 ST 2 AG 3 AV 7 dodge, right stuff
"Blitzers" 0-4 MA 6 ST 3 AG 3 AV 8 block

Bit toooo good! :o How about Strong Arm instead of Pass to start for the throwers, and only AG 3 for the cannonballs.

Yeah. You may be right. Updated the stats. How about now?

If the Throwers don't have BIG GUY ... I'm still very interested in playing it. Its a non-Stunty Goblin team with a no Negative Ogre that got some blitzers .... sounds like fun. Its probably overpowered still bluetooth to be honest. The AG 3 on the Cannonballs helped you a lot in the right direction.

I guess the Big Guy is a must. AFAIK a big guy is the only one to throw the little ones. Yes, that team should be fun. A lot of flying little buggers :)

Any ideas how to make it better? Drop the block? Only 2 blitzers?

Can you use strong arm on a TTM pass? I guessed you could only use pro or pass on a TTM Pass, I think that was awnsered in a Q&A somewhere...

And even if it works you can never throw a TTM Pass to Long Bomb range...
LRB 2.0 Page 23 wrote: The throw is treated like a normal pass, except that the
range is treated as being one band higher (a Quick Pass
counts as a Short Pass, for example), which means that
it is impossible to throw a team-mate out to Long Bomb
range.

Ahh found it ... was clarifyed by the BBRC 2002 see this:

BBRC wrote:BBRC response: Throw Team-Mate can only have Pass, Pro, or Leader used with it

May well be that the BBRC didn't mention strong arm because it was impossible for a big guy to get it. I don't have a problem, in theory, with the combination. But, by the letter of the law, it isn't allowed.

The St 5 bothers me a little bit...I mean how can he not be good at blocking? Give him Really Stupid and I'd be sold.

:D Well, he may be (eventually) good in blocking but his AV is only 7 (and got no mighty blow).

A bit different approach. What if TTM didn't need a big guy?

Roster B

Throwers 0-2 MA 5 ST 3 AG 3 AV 7 ttm, bonehead
Cannonballs 0-12 MA 6 ST 2 AG 3 AV 7 dodge, right stuff
Guards 0-4 MA 6 ST 3 AG 3 AV 7 block

I really think a TTM team could be a loads of fun. A lot of flying little guys... :D Come on, let me know what you think.

...or what about this? :D I really like this one :D

Roster C

Thrower * 0-2 * 5/4/2/7 * throwing team-mate, bonehead, big guy
Offence Cannonball * 0-6 * 6/2/3/7 * dodge, stunty, right stuff
Defence Cannonball * 0-6 * 6/2/3/7 * strip ball, stunty, right stuff
Suicide-Sids * 0-2 * 6/2/3/7 * dauntless

* Thrower can make only quick or short passes

All this talk about cannonballs... how about a Cannonball Golem team

0-16 Cannonball Golem 6239 Stunty, Block, Thick Skull, Regenerate 70k (AG)

RR 70k, No Apo

I'd rather not think about a Big Guy for them though
