Free Agency
To me the best rule introduced 'recently' has been the salary cap. What's interesting is to see how this has worked in the NFL, coupled with free agency. I thionk free agency should be looked at in BB too. Not sure how yet, have some wacky ideas, but keeping them to myself for now. I'm just thinking salary cap and free agency have really opened things up in the NFL in terms of parity, so why not try and apply the same principles to BB?

The problem I have with players leaving one team for another is that the only good way to do it is only allow them to go to teams of their own race. In our league we rarely have more then 2 teams of the same race and a lot of races only have one team, so there is nowhere for the players to go unless we introduce ally rules and we are all agianst that.

Salary Caps will favor some teams more than other because some teams obviously have cheaper players. Amazons would definetly have an advantage over Elves.
Free Agency would work if you could accurately cost a player and only allowed for them to go between like raced teams.
