This one picks up some things I experiment about...

Chaos: They should stick to Trolls/Minotaurs.
Norse: not sure, substitute Ogres with Barbarians/Thrud like types.

Humans should keep them (in fact they are dumb, big human brutes, aren't they?)

or raise their price and make them freebooters for everyone (incl. Skaven, Undead, Lizardmen and what else). If they are merc they should play for everyone, if they are not mercs they should be limited to Humans.

Ok, seeing as I started this poll I suppose I ought to give my opinons.

I voted to remove the Ogre form x rosters.

I'd remove from:-

Dwarfs (I feel it just doesn't fit the fluff)
Halflings (Ditto)
Goblins (Hmm, difficult, but feel Gobbo's have affinity to trolls, not Ogres)

I could live with them being removed from Chaos and Orcs, but I'd rather keep them in.

Since Ogres are simply better than Treemen or Trolls, i agree they should be removed from the Halfling and Goblin Team Rosters. They already are allowed to have 2 Big Guys in compensation. Note that I edited my above posting.

When Ogres are introduced as a Team of their own, there are enough Ogres in Blood Bowl.

Everyone but humans.

Ogres are just big ugly humans. They only add character to human teams, anywhere else they are just beardy.

Why not:

-Remove Ogres form all Team Lists
- Add Man Ogre to Human Team List
- Add Barbarian to Norse Team List
- Introduce a real Ogre Team

Remove them from:

Dwarfs
Halflings
Gobbos
Orcs
Norse
and if we are talking about game balance Chaos

A lot of people want to see Ogres retained on the chaos team because of the old chaos all stars fluff, but as the chaos team now does not resemble this fluff in any way whatsoever I can't see the problem.

That's true, the old Chaos All Stars is more like the Chaos Pact experimantal team not the official chaos team.

Dwarfs, Halflings, Norse, Goblins.

Humans and Chaos should be allowed them, but Chaos should lose Trolls.

Wood Elves should lose Treemen too.

If you honestly think Wood Elves need a Treeman then you're beyond help.
They're there for Fluff and nothing more, and if we're removing big guys from everyone else then I think you need to get rid of the tree, which plugs a weakness the woodies have (lack of line strength) as opposed to the Dwarf's Ogre.

Remove them from halflings and goblins. And make the trolls a tad bit better in some way. That should do the trick.

See, I'm not so sure about removing them from Norse. They've always been together in the fluff, both 2nd ed BB and WFB. It's only since 3ed and "Norse are Chaos" in WFB that they've not been together.

Norsca always used to be an area were Ogres were common
