Hi all,
having read annual 2003 I think that the modifications made to the new rosters look good. However, it struck me that fanatic has preferred "small" changes rather than big sweeping changes - perhaps because this makes the now redundant versions look somewhat less "off the mark"?

Anyway, seen in that light, I'd like to suggest an alternative ogre roster. Don't get me wrong, I like Galaks version quite a bit, but it is a big step away from the ogre team of Mag6.

My suggestion is simpler:
*Give Very Stupid rather than Bonehead to the ogres. And that's that.

The rationale is simple - the really talented ogres are bought up by the big teams, while their dimmer brethren are stuck on all-ogre teams.

I also have a 2nd idea:
It seems that the official team can use team rerolls.
In Galaks suggested version, a lot of them can't.

How about this idea:
*The ogres can use rerolls, they just can't buy any.
This would restrict the team to leader, trophy, brilliant coaching and cheering fans rerolls.

One of the major 'rules' I wanted once we got the Ogre team thread underway was 'No specific team rules', IE, no special skills or rules regarding the team. The simpler the better IMO.

I wasn't even aware I had a version.

The MBBL is currently testing 3 different Ogre rosters. 2 of them requested by JJ for testing directly and one other requested by other BBRC members. So that works for me for now.

Not dismissing your suggestions Martin ... just saying that I've got my hands full trying to test 3 different rosters at once in a league without a 4th.
