Coach's Corner (BB Mag #6)- On Field Injuries

I just read the last letter in The Coach's Corner (BB Mag #6) about injuries on field.
One word: BRILLIANT
It makes perfect sense that if a player was to be injured on the field that he wouldn't just disappear into the dug-out. I don't think multiple SI's is necessary, maybe the player is KO'd on a failed armour roll if already SI'd. But I LOVE THE REST OF THE IDEA.
Nice job- Aussie Drew

Why not? Bloodbowl is played on a magic-infested world. They're probably just zapped out of play by a wizard who is especially hired for that purpose. (That's what I always imagined)

Yeah, I can picture some wizard zapping them back into the dug-out, but isn't Blood Bowl a game of CARNAGE. So why would Blood Bowl officials want injured players whisked of the field magically.
I always kinda imagined it that way too, but it just makes more sense leaving the players on the field.
-To me anyhow.
each their own.

Ok, you've got my interest. Could anybody sum it up for someone who just managed to get BB mag 4 only last month? Who knows how long it will be before I grab the more current issues.

Well, I admit that I did like the idea, but it should be changed somewhat from how it was posted. But even then, I think it would overcomplicate the game. Furthermore, busting a hole in a defense would be made that much more difficult...

It would especially work out fine if GW would redo the injured BB Player Series. Otherwise it would be a bit confusing I think

Anyone remember SpeedBall? When you got injured or ran out of stamina the floor would open up and you would be swollowed up! Not sure if that was relivant but with the conversation of zapping people off the field it just made me think of it

lawquoter-
basically;
death= place a marker indicating a dead body in that square.
KO'd= Badly stunned, role and on a 1 they become stunned otherwise they stay prone.
SI and Badly Hurt= can move 1 square per turn towards the sidelines to get off the pitch.
All KO'd, Badly Hurt and SI are still prone to fouls at; +3 armor rolls for KO'd and +2 for the others.
