So thing that came up on a long journey back from a bb tourney.

What if for league play teams got 1,750,000 gp to build there teams and could have a roster for 22 players. You could double up on positional's for your squad (so 2 wardancers would be 4 and so on), but for match days you had to name a squad of 16 players that was eligible. So players could have 4 wardances on there roster but only field 2 in there squad.

One other thing was youth players, each team could have up to 5 and these players would be 1 stat less on all stats, so a youth wardancer would be 7236 but still have the same skills. They would cost about half as much but instead of making SSP rolls they could increase 2 of there stats ontill they matched the book stats. These players would be a good way to get cheap players into the team but would need kid gloves to use them at the right time, if the league let coaches pick who got the MVP, but they had to of played at least one turn then that could help them.

Again this was something that just came up chatting and might help some teams more then others and the stating money might be wrong but in league play it could make it more fun.

The 175K issue would probably help more the light teams like elfes, since positionnals have a higher cost, and being able to have a Wardancer-witchelf-blitzer backup is very usefull, while having 4 extra Bob is just loosing time to grow them up. They are already slow to gain spp, spreading the MVP is not a good thing.

Maybe adding extra rules involving the fact that a player can be expulsed from the league while fouling will reduce the gap, by making strength teams buy extra linos for more fouling ?

yes good idea, if your player is sent off for a foul then he gets a three match ban.
