ST4

What if like an elf team which has complete AG4, there was a team in which all players had ST4. Usually it seems to me that the AG4 factor is usually coupled by a high movement, low armor, and either low or normal ST. My thought was what if there was a team with average to high armor, and solid ST4 across the board with low movement and low agility. I know this probably sounds like Khemri, or Orc, but instead its a super ST team.

I am not the best at coming up with a race, or a count per player, and obviously some players on this team should be better than others on the team yet all should be based on the one or two overall themes of ST4 AV8 and some 9. This would be a tough team to play and it would be a tough team to control. It would be the "strongest" team without a negative trait, and ball control would be a near imposibility. Overall I think they might be good, not overpowering because other teams would be able to beat it. The agility players would have to understand that running away from these guys is a supermust and they would have to keep their distance and score quickly. The bashers like Khemri and Orcs can't stand and fight, but they can't run away. Playing strategically Khemri's ST5 guys should be able to take care of business, and Orcs are versatile enough to do their thing.

If someone can come up with a race and positional players I would apreciate it, also what are people's opinion on this?

One word: Vampires.

They nearly have all the traits you described, only one problem: Blood Lust. As the skill is written now, the team is utterly useless. But if want to test them as a Tier 1 team, just remove Blood Lust from their skill list and left the fun begin. I don't know if a Vampire team without Blood Lust would be balanced, but it's clearly a working basis.

It's not possible. ST is the single biggest factor in the game. It's why +1ST is a roll of 12. It's why the common advice of every BB player everywhere is with VERY few exceptions, take the +ST. They would be the best team in BB. 2die blocks have little chance of failure to begin with. I'm sure every player would have ST access and the ability to get Guard and they'll eat every team alive, including Ogres, Kehmri, Lizzies, and Chaos.

I was thinking along the same thought process as you on that. It was wishful thinking you can say

I think Snew hit it on the head. You really can't design a team like you're suggesting without having it being broken and no fun for the other player.

If you want to try out your ideas of ST4 all around try playing a few test games with nothing but 11 Black Orcs against a few friends and see if everyone enjoyed the game.

Thats true never thought of 11 Black Orcs facing off against a team. Snew did hit it on the head. Is there any way to redesign this broken team I came up with to make them non-broke, or will it just make another Vampire, or Khemri

closest to what you want out of the gate is Lizardman.

Well, to be fair, a team can be strength 4 across the board and be OK. I think they would need to be something like the following. Note, I don't believe this team would be very fun to play.

0-16 Lineman 3 4 1 8 G/SAP 60K
0-2 Runner 5 4 2 7 Sure Feet P/GAS 110K
0-2 Blitzer 4 4 2 9 Juggernaut S/GAP 110K

Re-roll- 70K

I think as long as the team didn't have too much AG 2 combined with general access, and as long as it had a minimum of Strength Access (guard would be lethal) it would not be a great side. Maybe not even definitively Tier 1.

BUT- two issues. It wouldn't be that fun to play, and there is no fluff behind the team.

Barbarian team. If we could play with the skill access a bit I'd play that team in a second and I'd have fun and I'd make up my own fluff if I HAD to and... and...and...I'd struggle to deveolp them but Yowza. Once they start rolling no one's going to like seeing them coming.

If you had an entire team with ST 4 and access to Guard, then it would be nearly impossible to ever get 2 block dice advantage! I think a team like that without some major flaws (Vampire) would be broken!

Jural had a good point about some sort of Barbarian team. I don't think S access is necessary on all players for the team, G would be plenty to make them competitive.

Better then I could do. My best was... err...

Balco Gnomes.

That team would be very cute moveing only 3 each time but all hitting with a whallop, that would be tough to use.

What about some sort of Barbarian team then. Assuming we tried to make a team like this as fair as humanly possible what would the positionals be? I think if we are able to come up with what the team should be weak at and create the positionals to make them weaker at that point then work on their Sts, while keeping it in check.

I know obviously they need to have linemen, and probably blitzers but what shouldn't they be able to do other then pick up the ball easily.
Don't fully count out the roid gnomes although they seem like a joke they have potential as well

remove the bit in the rules where you have to have 11 players to start. Then start an all-ogre team. Only 7-8 players to start, very unreliable but very very dangerous.
