New Skills

Has anyone used any of these skills? (or something similar)
I am thinking of adding 1 or more of them to my league and was wondering if/how they might affect gameplay.
Distract (General Skill) - any opponent attempting to catch, pass, or pick up the ball while in this player tackle zone receives a - 2 instead of - 1. This is cumulative with other tackles zones.
Dive (General Skill) - the player may voluntarily fall to the turf if a block is attempted against him. No Armour or Injury rolls are made, and the player is placed face up.
Acrobat (Agility Skill) - the player receives a reroll on a failed landing attempt when thrown. May only be used with Right Stuff.
Perfect Spiral (Passing Skill) - the pass is nearly perfect, and the catching player receives a + 1 to catch.

I like Distract and Acrobat. They are good enough to take but not too powerful.
Dive might be too powerful in combination with Jump Up though.
Perfect Spiral could be worded better Do you have to have the skill on the receiver to get the +1 to catch? Or do you have have to have it on the player throwing the ball? It's rather vague.

Dive leaves you prone and you can still be fouled, but I see your point.
Perfect Spiral needs to be taken by the thrower so the catcher can receive the +1 to catch.

I like perfect spiral (but i'm pretty sure i've seen it around before). Dive seems a bit too good, but of course he can be fouled... eh

how is dive like wrestle? The only one going down is the player about to be blocked. The blocking player stays standing and can still lend assists.

Perfect Spiral was an MBBL skill. Is that where the others are from?
PS was viewed as being too good in the hands of Wood Elves

Some were found from all over the net, not sure where I got them all. I have had them sitting around doing nothing on my list of possible skills to use.

Hrm - Distract seems like a nerfed Disturbing Presense. I'm pretty sure it's from 2nd Ed BB and imo that's where it should stay. But adding it in wouldn't cause any hurt because it's going to be picked less than Pass Block (which is the skill you'd need to make it work.)
Dive - ugh, no thanks. I don't want to see players taking a dive, especially in stall situations.
Acrobat & Perfect Spiral seem fine, but I think PS should be altered to give +1 to anyone attempting to catch an accurate pass and interception attempts.

PS could be made to give a -1 to interception and leaving the catching part as is. Not too powerful, but helpful.

Perfect Spiral gives a -1 to interception attempts? I like that idea...would be great with safe throw.

Dive - pile on should allow a free armor check!
This gives a "counter skill" which the teams most needing stalling to be expensive can take advantage of.

Most players need a 6 to intercept anyway, so it's no big deal to get a -1.

I was thinking about it again and I think I will leave it as a +1 to catch it instead of a -1 to intercept.

You could give Perfect Spiral both advantages, if you felt it wasn't good enough with just the catch bonus.
