Basicaly its LRB4 fouling rules except that when the ref spots it, the player is ejected as normal (red card) and any assisting players get a yellow card. Now yellow card could work in 2 ways;
1) Football (soccer if you like!). Collect 2 yellows and you get sent off
2) Rugby. Yellow card means sinbin, which means the offending players are placed in the reserves (could mean drastic pitch clearances if you risk a big gangfoul!), and would the players be allowed to gain multiple yellows in this case?
Would mean a little more bookkeeping, writing a Y on the roster sheet heh
Things im thinkig about...
- ATC, would each player about to get the yellow have to argue call? Would seem like a lot of rolling
- Would negative fouling assists also be penalised by rules lawyers?
- Is this too harsh?
- Id also think that GTR would need to be for a drive rather than for the half, but then again, would this increase the amount of stalling?
Main benefit of this idea is that it will help stop those teams who gangfoul (Khemri), by penalising them for gangfouling, but putting more emphasis on no assist fouls, or 1-2 assist fouls with fodder
Obviously its a very rough idea, but Im sure some of the smart folks here could think of improvements
