In line with the Pub League article in the magazines, I thought it would be fun for the teams in my league to play a slightly beered up version of BB, you can just twist the stats slightly

ie make the average Human Lineman MA 4 S5 AG 2 AV 10 and similar for the rest except Star Players. This is due to the usual symptoms of can't walk very far, would fight an elephant and not feel any broken limbs until the next day, but couldn't dodge to save my life.

What do you think? Has anyone done anything similar?
I will put it to them as well and let you know.

Leave the ST alone, give them all Bonehead, Dauntless, and Off For A PUKE!!

Cool, I forgot about the "Really Stupid" side of things, must be all those quiz machines, I lose money in.

Nice touch with Dauntless  and :puke:

The lads will love it

I had thought about replacing Dodge with a "skill" known as Sway or Stumble and anyone finishing their move next to the touchline (or a treeman) stops for a pis* and can do nothing for the next turn.

Rubber Legs trait. On a roll of 1 the player follows the movement rules for Goblin Ball and Chain Fanatics, including must Block
players of either side if he blunders into them.

These are really good ideas! You should write them up into 'advanced rules' for Pub Teams.

I wouldn't know about that, it was just a fun idea is all. anyone who wants to submit it to the BB gods feel free. :smoking:

just a thought maybe the Norse should have modifiers due to the amount of stomach scraping juice they suck down - a tolerance factor or something or a negative trait "Gout" which could increase injury rolls by +2. Also if this was an adjunct to the official Pub team rules then something along the lines of enough alcohol rendering the Niggling injury null and void for that match on the roll of 5+.

The original rules were only for Humans, but realistically Dwarves, Norse, Amazon and Ogre's would take part too.

No point undead drinking (unless its Blood )

Elves only really drink Wine so they are out, Halflings/Goblins could'nt take more than a mouthful  and no-one knows what Lizards drink. :???:

Treemen only drink water and who would let Chaos in your pub

I think that the apothecary should be replaced by a new team personnel member//ally bearing the title of Landlord. he increases FF by +1 and can cure all NG on +4.

Is this getting to silly now?

Yeah, but what happens if an undead drinks the blood of a drunk person

I like the rules. A bit of fun occasionally.

How about "Amphetamine Bowl" where everyone doubles their speed and halves their agility for the game. At the start of every turn roll 2D6 for each player, on a double 1 they have a heartattack!!

Or "Dope Bowl" where every player rolls for "Stoned" each turn...
