changes

Post by trautz »

I had some comments and changed some things to
make the team more balanced :

Savage Orks :
+5k ( 80k now )
-1AV ( they dont wear very much )
( they are now exactly like Blackorks but with -1 AV and "block" )

And Fanatics lost Dodge ( they are too stoned to Dodge )
and are now 50k
( thats 10k more than a normal Gobbo for their Bonus "+1MA" )

the picture in my first post is actuall

I think you've made them too good for the price overall.
I think both the Savage and the Squig are under priced (maybe you should add 10K on each). Looking at the Savage - I think Block in that kind of player is worth more than 1 AV. The Fanatic would be fun but pointless, as he's not worth the extra 10k for +1 MA (especially as he has 1/6 chance of not playing). Maybe if you roll a 5,6 he could get an extra skill or stat upgrade for that half.
Otherwise interesting.

The influence table certainly looks like fun. Have you upped the prices by 20k on the 3 new players and taken away the +1 MA for the fanatics? It certainly looks like a fun team, but I think the Fanatic is still overpriced. Even on a good role on the table, his stats don't warrant a 70k price tag, 50k seems better. Others might disagree.

They look like crazy fun, but why is six on the fanatic roll the 2nd worst result? It should be the best result.

Squighopper is underpriced. compare to wardancer....same stats but +1 av and claw (phys) instead of leap.

make av7. drop the dodge. why would a squighopper have dodge? I actually like the squighopper they have on fumbbl.com

mv 5 st4 ag3 av7 razor sharp fangs, pogo stick, oFab 90k with AG access.

I can see removing OFAB just cuz it's a pain to play with and make it a straight 100k player. plus with razor fangs he won't break armor but when he does....lick your chops. Plus it's so much fun to play with a pogo stick.

also I think your #'s for the fanatic mushrooms got knocked off when editing...you got two 3's, 4 with no 5. I think you should change the name too. when u say fanatic i'm sure people will think of whirling ball of death instead of a drugged up gobbo.

you're saying +1AV, and claw instead of leap is worth more than 20k?!! :o

ag4/leap and +1AV/claw are not equal.

so the squighopper should cost more than a wardancer.

1. with blodge and st3 they both hit the ground the same amount but av8 suffers 50% fewer armor breaks---he's still a gobbo ontop of that squig....so he should have the same AV.

2. claw is a phys skill and leap is a normal skill.

3. I like the pogo stick since the squiq is basically an illegal weapon...and it actually lets him "hop" around.

it's too good of a player. he shouldn't have dodge and block....he's no longer a regular gobbo. He's on a wild animal....doesn't make sense to have block. Gobbos are supposed to be more crazy and unreliable teams....so give them other stuff.

Block represents training on knocking down players. i don't see this player having that until he gets spps'.

He's on a squig so no more dodge.....

It's not 50% less, it's 33% less (AV 7 has 50% more amour breaks - 15/36 whereas AV 8 breaks on a chance of 10/36)

Anyway, that's semantics. The point is AG3, AV8 and Claw, is not worth 20k more than AG4, AV7 and Leap. You could argue they're worth the same but not 20k more. With AG 3 you are twice (100% - using your style) as likely to fail a dodge. I would say being twice as likely to fail a dodge (and cause a turnover) is worse than being 1 and half times more likely to have your armour broken. So what if claw is a physical skill, isn't leap an agility one?

There is the point the stats don't truly reflect the player, but that is a different argument (one which I would agree with you on).

physical is a trait......requiring doubles. leap doesn't.

So he's worth 20k more.... :-?

Give the squighopper leap instead of dodge, he is a hopper after all.
